I take a dash of sugar, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, molasses, a small dash of salt and garlic powder, a can of crushed pineapple with the juice, chipotle pepper, minced bell peppers, and 2-3 whole mango's. Will Madden 09 be changed to Brett in a Jets uniform?

I heard on the radio yesterday that EA Sports has a label you can download with Broadway Brett in Jets gear to cover the package with him in Packer gear.

Batch exits Eagles game with fractured collarbone
Steelers, Philadelphia tied, 10-10, heading into final quarter
Friday, August 08, 2008
By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Steelers backup quarterback Charlie Batch left the play field with a fractured right collarbone in the second quarter if tonight's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

That game was tied, 10-10 at the end of the third quarter at Heinz Field.

There was no immediate word on how long Batch would be out but it probably would be at least a month and likely more.

Unless the Steelers pick up another quarterback in the meantime rookie Dennis Dixon likely will serve as No. 2 with rookie Mike Potts No. 3.

Batch left the field with 5:59 left in the second quarter one play after he ran six yards on a broken play. He took the next snap and handed off to Gary Russell, then walked off the field with a team doctor.

Dixon replaced Batch in the lineup.

The Steelers took the opening kickoff tonight and drove 80 yards for a touchdown to take a 7-3 lead over Eagles at the end of the first quarter.

Santonio Holmes caught a quick third-down pass near the line of scrimmage from Ben Roethlisberger and ran 19 yards down the left sideline for a touchdown to stake the Steelers to a 7-0 lead.

The Eagles came right back on their first possession to score on David Akers' 28-yard field goal late in the quarter.

Philadelphia took the lead early in the second quarter on Donovan McNabb's third-down, three-yard pass to Jason Davis. The Eagles stayed with their first team offense while the Steelers deployed their second-team defense on that drive.

Jeff Reed tied it at 10-10 with a 20-yard field goal late in the second quarter.

These Philly announcers are fucking terrible. So far they've sucked the dick of every Eagles player they've talked about. If you couldn't see the score, you'd think a different Eagles player was scoring a touchdown on every play.

I'm not watching the game, just reading it. 2 fair catches for Bloom. Is he trying to make the team?

Anyone catch that practical joke Harrison just got Holmes with on camera? James was pretending to drink from a water bottle which he apparently unscrewed the cap and left it sitting on top. He walked up next to Santonio real nonchalantly and offered him a drink. Santonio tipped it up to take a swig and of course the top flew off and he dumped water all over his face and down his jersey. Harrison was jumping up and down laughing like a little kid. Ha ha.

They also said the NFC east was the toughest conference in the NFL. I would like to give that title to our division, but I think the AFC south is tougher than the NFC east.

My prediction of Jeremy Bloom making the team is not looking good. Granted its tough to return a 30yd punt.

The Chicks will love you if you put this on a Chick and Pineapple Kebob served over a bed of rice! More is better! Try some with your cottage cheese.

Ingredients:
I take a dash of sugar, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, molasses, a small dash of salt and garlic powder, a can of crushed pineapple with the juice, chipotle pepper, minced bell peppers, and 2-3 whole mango's. I mix it all together lightly in the blender and heat it over the stove top to a simmer and then pour it over my meat. It is good with shrimp and chicken as well.

Spanks!!!!!!

They also said the NFC east was the toughest conference in the NFL.

And that the worst team in NFC East would be a contender in any other division.

I'd probably go after Culpepper--since he's got a similar style to Ben. I like my #1 & #2 QBs to be similiar--you don't want to have to drastically change the play calling for QBs.
Good point. I hope we call him sometime today - Culpepper that is...
Will Madden 09 be changed to Brett in a Jets uniform?

Negative Ghostrider. I picked up my copy of the Madden 09 yesterday. Brett the Jet is in a Packer uni as advertised...

The game, on the other hand, is the best Madden ever!!! No advantages to the D or O this year and they've fixed all the crap from 08. Only problem is when you challenge a play the game disco's...but that will be fixable via a patch/update.

EA Promises Updated Favre for Madden '09

http://blog.wired.com/games/images/2008/08/07/madden09.jpg (http://blog.wired.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/08/07/madden09.jpg) Reacting to Thursday's news that famed Packers QB Brett Favre would be returning to the NFL with the New York Jets next season, Electronic Arts has promised imminent updates to Madden '09, a game that features Favre in a Packers jersey on the cover.
EA plans to offer a downloadable cover insert depicting Favre in Jets regalia via the official Madden website. Completionist fans are urged to print off a copy and replace the retail art as they see fit.
In-game, Favre is a member of the All Time Greats Team by default, though an August 11 downloadable roster update for the title will shift Favre to the Big Apple.
Say what you will about EA's money-grubbing past, but I'm impressed with the reaction time they've shown in amending the innate flaws in Madden '09. Let's hope the gameplay shows the same level of fan-pleasing dedication.
