Do the Bruins have a chance?

I say they do....the Volunteers are notorious for playing up or down to the level of their competition. Have been for years. Tennessee should kill the Bruins....but will probably manage to keep them in the game for 3 Qtrs.

And Lou Holtz and his lispy voice drive me fkn bananas. My dream is for Mark May to reach over and choke slam that little bastard one day.

UCLA is playing their 3rd string QB. Tenn better beat them.

I see a pretty big orange section in the crowd. That's an expensive road trip from Tennessee. Probably put a drain on their kid's college fun....nevermind.

i hate watching west coast games college or pro. There's something unnatural about football being played in bright sunlight. Plus you always get those long shadows on the field and when the camera follows into the shadow it looks like shit because it's set up to film in bright light.

Neuheisel you fucking idiot. Your QB already had 3 INTs, You are LUCKY just to be tied, and you try to make this nervous 3rd string QB push it down the field with under 1 minute.

This is why defensive coaches make better head coaches than offensive coaches. Defensive coaches always have the big picture of the game in mind, but offensive coaches always seem to think about scoring points and little else.

Tennessee's offensive coordinator, who they showed about a million times, lost that game. Norm Chow sent him to school on how to call a game.

Tennessee's offensive line was killing UCLA in the first half. UCLA was tired befor halftime. Tennessee did UCLA a favor every time they threw the ball in the second half. They should have just ran UCLA down like Alabama ran down pussy ass Clemson.

It always kills me when these supposed "genius" offensive coaches go away from what's working so they can run other plays that they want to see. Arians did this a lot last year too. Listen, just win the fucking game, and stop worrying about going deep into your playbook so you can impress the play by play guy. The Saints get caught up in that too when they try to force plays to Reggie Bush instead of beating teams over the head with Deuce McAllister.

quoted for truth. Foster should have had 200 yds rushing. why they kept having Crompton throw was ignorant. They need to go back to the playbook when Tee was first starting...he had 2 reads to make and the third was to throw the ball away. Meanwhile they fed the defense Travis Henry and Travis Stephens with some Jamal Lewis sprinkled in.

Craft had ONE read the second half. If that guy wasnt open, he was probably told to throw it away or run. Kudos to Chow for Kordelling his offense to fit his personnel.

Dead on.

Thing is.....Tennessee has been playing an amped up version of Cowher "turtle ball" for years now. It's why I opened this thread with the comments that I did. It's the #1 reason, I feel, why Fulmer is the cause of such angst among the fanbase.....despite his awesome winning %

Ironic that he gets away from it when he needs to the least.

Uhh, it's not just based on one or two games. It's based on over-all strength of the conference from top to bottom, due to schedule and National Championships. This doesn't mean that the SEC will win every out of conference game either. The PAC-10 may have the over-all best team at any given time, but the conference as a whole is still weaker then the SEC.
