Didn't see this posted, but I was reading the Philly Inquirer this morning and noticed that Willie Reid was placed on the Eagle's Practice Squad.

So to answer a lot of our questions: Yes he is PS eligible.

That would mean that Micah Rucker beat Willie Reid out for a practice squad spot

I would of swore he'd land in Arizona.

McBean looked awful I doubt he ever develops into a solid 3-4 player.

Reid had a solid preseason. And I don't think he would have been PS eligable for us, he only is because he changed teams.

He has some potential in Philly where they are thin at reciever with the injuries they have.

Actually, it means Reid chose Philly rather than Pitt. Pitt may have offered him the PS and he turned them down.

They are desperate for recievers.

Of course how desperate were we for a returner to pick up Bloom.

Interesting news about Reid. Thanks for sharing Stryker. Reid could do pretty decent in the west coast offense.

Can you really blame him Philly always has suspect receivers where as here his best case scenario would have been to claw his way into the 3 slot a few years down the road.

Is it too late to pick up Reid for my fantasy team??

The Eagles opening day starters are Jason Avant and Hank Baskett. I'll bet you they did not have 40rec combined last year. Reid may be an upgrade.

Reid had a solid preseason. If he stays healthy, he may fit in nicely with the style of offense the Eagles run.
