Although there are big expectations for Woodley, I was surprised to see King picked him to finish 3rd for defensive POY

Speaking of predictions, Golic picked the Steelers to win the AFC and Greenie picked the Jags.
Then Greenie cursed the Vikings by picking them to win the NFC & the SB.
Golic took the Cowboys over the Steelers in the SB.

I don't think I'd be able to handle losing to the Cowboys.
But I think Woodley is going to have a great year aswell. He gets to face the RTs while teams focus on stopping Harrison from the other side. Add Timmons and Farrior to that and we have a good blitz up the middle.
I think we're going to get alot of sacks this year. Hopefully that leads to INTs aswell.

To even think that Romo will get Dallas into the playoffs and make it to the Super Bowl is really going out on the ledge. Someone aught to talk him back in. The NFC is inferior but won't be sending Dallas to represent it. No way Jose, even if Romo is Double Sized.

The Bengals haven't won one since 89 or 90, the Browns since 1994, and the Ravens since 2001. Is that right?

Woodley will be something special....I truly believe that...
His game, style, and physicality remind me very, very much of Merriman of San Diego...

Well, he's already taken them to the playoffs before, but he hasn't won a game yet so until he proves he can do that, you are right it is a leap of faith to put them in the SB. With that said though they are a very talented team and it's not that crazy to think they could win the NFC.
As far as Woodley goes, this may be a little much to have him top 3 POY. You can never rule anything out completely but I think our pass rush is going to be more by committee this year. I think all the backers will have their share of sacks but probably none will have a ridiculous amount. I'm excited to see what they do with Timmons and his explosion ability. It could give us another blitz option from the inside. Between Timmons, Harrison and Woodley, they should really help get our D back to that dynamic and dangerous level that it was at a few years ago, but not so much the past 2.

I can't stand fatass but he's right about this. Woodley will likely be a household name after this season.

That is a pretty bold prediction for Peter King, but he seems to be good at knowing football. At the very least Harrison and Woodley should help each other out a lot. First up for them both is Matt Schaub. Time to get after the QB.

I think he picked Jake Plummer to be MVP a few years ago.
