There was a sort of "contest" in Houston to name the team, and some of the names were so totally lame that I'm not suprised the "Texans" won out over such horrible names as Stallions or Apollos. I didn't care for the name at first, but it's grown on me and I like it now. At least we have pro football back in Houston, and that's really what most of us cared about. It's no lie that football is a religion in Texas, and we had been missing it in Houston. Although we haven't missed that ass Bud Adams, that's for sure.

FIrst game of a new season. Anything can happen is the old cliche, but this is the game that could have us in the right direction or could start a downfall. I don't think it matters if it is the Texans or the Colts, we need to be ready on Sunday.
