Chris Henry changes name to Chad Johnson
http://www.derfmagazine.com/_images/cincinnati/news/441/ChrisHenry.jpg CINCINNATI - Following the Chad Jonson's widely reported name change to Ocho Cinco, Cincinnati Bengal Wide Receiver Chris Henry announced he has taken steps to legally change his name to Chad Johnson.
During a press conference at Paul Brown Stadium, Henry said, "My name has been associated with so much controversy. As soon as the name Chad Johnson became available I decided this was my chance to upgrade my image and to get a clean start. The name Chad Johnson is not a stretch for me because I am a Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver just like the former Chad Johnson. I hope many fans of the former Chad Johnson will begin to accept me as their own."
Ocho Cinco told reporters he is happy his former name has found a way to live on within the Bengals organization.
Reportedly, an inmate at the Hamilton County Jail has filed paperwork to legally change his name to Chris Henry. Steven Phillips, who is serving an 11 year sentence for several gun felonies and domestic violence convictions, feels changing his name to Chris Henry is his chance to upgrade his image and to get a clean start.

I really cannot believe this.. they're more worried about changing their names than they are winning games. Bengals might be the worst team in the league this year, what a joke that team is

But seriously folks, how many people think Marvin Lewis will either be fired during this season or immediately after it.
He is not a terrible coach, he just has all the Raider wanna be's on his team.

In case you don't get it, it's a joke. Loved this one:
Odell Thurman removed from sideline after snorting it.
PAUL BROWN STADIUM—In the Bengals game against the Falcons on October 29th, Odell Thurman was found standing near the bench, in violation of his NFL suspension. Thurman was abruptly removed from the sidelines when he was found trying to snort them. Linebackers Coach Ricky Hunley quickly informed him that the chalk was not crystal methamphetamine and asked Thurman to stand up, at which point he started barking viciously, shouting, “Go Dawgs, sick ‘em!” In an awkward moment, Hunley gently reminded Thurman that he was banned from Paul Brown Stadium for the remainder of the season. Calls to Thurman and his agent have not been returned.

God I love the Bengals. The Thurman ones even better.
And Marvin will resign at the end of the year is my guess. He couldn't have liked the move to bring Henry back after he went out and said they wern't interested.
Go get yourself a nice DC job. You'll have another HC job soon enough.

How many of you would like to see Marvin here in Pit as Def Coordinator? Lebeau is not getting any younger....

I wouldn't mind it, as long as it is 2-3 years down the road. He has to go somewhere else first to get that bunghole stench off him.

I would be willing to bet Lebeau will be here until he dies. The man loves football and is in remarkable shape for his age.

Marvin Lewis and Carson Palmer should change their names to David Shula and Akili Smith.

Marvin should have been fired a few years back.

I dont think Marvin is the problem. The FO seems to trump him when he tries to clean up the place. When they brought back Henry, Lewis didnt seem all that thrilled about it. However the Cincy D has been horrible which doesnt look good for Lewis. I dont think he will make it through the year if the Bengals continue to struggle. I definitely think Lewis will get a shot elsewhere and I hope he does well. I just think he is in a horrible situation now.

No way do I want Marvin Lewis being asscociated with the Steelers again... unless of course, he goes to Detroit first!

Exactly! Lewis is dealing with a crappy FO. I do not know when his contract is up but he is dealing with it for now because he wants another shot somewhere else.
If he were to walk away mid season it would not look good to any owner.
He will get another shot somewhere else though.

How do you explain the drafts where they continuously drafted thugs after they said they were going to clean things up? Marvin is responsible. His head will roll
