Cleveland Browns

The Browns have a lengthy injury list heading into Sunday night's game against the Steelers. Wide receiver Donte' Stallworth (quad) and tight end Martin Rucker (knee) didn't practice Friday and are doubtful. Wide receiver Josh Cribbs (ankle), guard Rex Hadnot (knee), safety Brodney Pool (concussion) and guard Ryan Tucker (hip) were limited Friday and there is a good chance most of them won't play. Safety Sean Jones had knee surgery this week and is out. Linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (groin) practiced Friday and is probable. Linebacker Kris Griffin is probable with an elbow injury and will be available.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Cornerback Deshea Townsend is doubtful with a foot injury and didn't practice Friday. He is expected to be replaced by Bryant McFadden. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is probable and had a full practice Friday. He will start against the Browns, but he may be limited in making all of his throws.

I'm concerned about Ben and his deep ball with that shoulder. Cleveland is a team that can and should be exploited in that department.

My prediction is looking better now...

Got a strange feeling DA is gonna get the concussion bug this week. Sorry DA.

Im sure someone has pointed this out to Crennel (because god knows he couldnt figure it out on his own) but we will just exploit Miller over the middle.

If they can get parker around to the outside he should also have a huge game.

I'm convinced this "shoulder soreness' is a ploy.

I think the Steelers are playing possum with Ben

I believe that as well. Even if he can't throw the deep ball, Ward and Miller should have plenty of opportunities in the short game.

I read somewhere that Ben practiced on Friday and threw the ball with plenty of zip. I cannot remember where I read that though. The report stated he showed no signs of a shoulder injury.

Too bad Andra Davis isn't on the Brownie list.

Damn the injury bug really has hit Cleveland hard. Doesn't matter though because I still want to beat them into submission.

I am excited to see what they have been hiding in McFadden. Hope he gets a big INT or two and has the type of coming out party that will move Deshea to the Nickel/3rd safety spot. I would also love to see Anthony Smith whack someone tonight.

I really hope Pool doesn't play. A team with 2 backup safeties and their corners has not shot.

Cribbs shouldnt be the same weapon. High Ankle sprain will really slow down his acceleration and his cuts. I can see him sitting this one and them just trying to make it look like he might play. That would be one hell of a fast HAS recovery.

The other thing I like about McFadden starting is he seems to be more physical. Also would love to see Anthony Smith activated for tonight's game so he can hit some people too.
