View Full Version : Ben's post game interview

WTF was up with Ben after the game?

I'm paraphrasing, but it went like this:

Kramer: Your shoulder looked great - how's it feeling?
Roethlisberger: The OL did an incredible job tonight. I have to give them a lot of credit.
Kramer: Did your shoulder give you any trouble tonight?
Roethlisberger: Willie had a great game and when he's running well, the team does well.
Kramer: OK, I'll try once more how is your shoulder feeling?
Roethlisberger: Thanks! The team is in there waiting for me, so I have to go.

Listen you closet Philly fan faggot, that's no cause to call him a "tool". He is a very good human being and he's went through a lot of shit while he's been here. Oh, and he brought us a fucking Super Bowl win. Now go suck off McNabb or something.

Your hurting my feelings. That makes me really sad. I dont know if I can handle the emotional burden I now have to carry. I may have to see a therapist because of your hurtful comments.

Ben needs to shut the fuck up about any injury he he has or does not have. Is that clear enough. That way he can avoid looking like a tool. When the media asks if you have an injury before the game you say no. Thats it.

Yeah, we all know that being Steelers fans, c'mon now. It's still alright to criticize the guy.

Personally, I think he does play up his injuries. I was thinking last night "How come it's Roethlisberger who is always giving his own injury report?" It really reminded me of the whole broken toes incident after the Pats loss in '04, when they never even confirmed that he had any broken toes, but he mentioned that to the media anyways. And then he tells the media he played with a separated shoulder last week, although no one with the Steelers even hinted at that over the course of this past week. I think he was embarrassed by it so that's why he avoided all the questions about it after the game, but I'm just speculating on that.

Why are you crucifying Ben for keeping his mouth shut? I grew up learning to fight and the LAST thing you did was to tell your weakness' . I figured growing up in Soprano country would have taught you to keep 'family' buisness to your selfes? I'm kidding, but I hope you understand.

Ben's a TEAM player in all aspects of the game, including what he should or should not say in an interview concerning his healt status. Lets give the whole league some insite as to what to target while playing us. LetMePlayWithMySelf is a tool and should shut HIS mouth, or what ever orphus he's talking out of.

Yeah.........I don't really understand his reaction to the questions.......

All he had to say was " the shoulder is fine Andrea" .....and then changed the subject.....

Now all he did was get the media, local and national, into a 20/20 kind of mode.....

Sorry Ben.....you just brought a boat load of attention to yourself......

Completely agree...

Maybe I'm partial because I'm a 1) Steeler fan and 2) Roethlisberger is my favorite current Steeler, but it's obvious that he didn't want to talk about his shoulder. The dumb snatch wants to keep bringing it up, then he is going to make her look stupid in the interview.

Well played.

But wasn't Ben the person who informed the Sunday Night Football crew that he had a seperation in his shoulder?

I thought that WAS keeping his mouth shut about injuries?

Only thing that would have made it better would be something like "Zippy and the boys gave me great pit stops, put in a turn of wedge and a half-pound in the right front on the last one, and we were ready to go."

Ben's problem was what he said before the game, that the Browns used to target his owie. He was not going to give the Eagles the same benifit.

Bingo. Actually if it were Bwady/Belicheat, she wouldn't have even asked a 2nd or 3rd time, like the rest of the media phonies, she probably would've been too scared to call out the Mighty *Pats.

"The shoulder will be fine." - then say how great the OL and Willie played.

She asks again you say "The shoulder will be fine." - then tell them you were fortunate to win.

I dunno, I think the shoulder is worse than his throws would indicate. I happened to notice that other than throwing he did everything else left handed - pointing to the sky on the TD, unbuckling his chin straps, etc... I hope he's alright.

Geez! Cant yinz find anything else to bitch about? We won a tough game in bad weather against an ancient foe that was determined as hell. How about a little positive stuff instead of nit picking everything Ben (or anyone else) says after the game, or before. Maybe he brought up the "separation" business to lull them into a false sense of security so he could get a few long bombs off without them expecting it? Or maybe not. Who cares. We won.

All I know is Ben is in a world of pain right now....after seeing those shots that big baby put on him last night..that dirty s.o.b.!

If we have to ever start Leftwich..(if he doesn't learn to put some touch on the ball) we are SCREWED...(plus Byron takes forever to release the ball,he has like a pitchers wind up)

if that happens its run, run, run, run, run,! then Play Action..........then throw deep!

Before the game. The announcers said he was playing with a partially separated shoulder. How did they know that? He told them.
