just heard adam schefter report on nfl countdown that the steelers are playing it safe with a "wait and see approach" to troy, he's out of the lineup for at least a month...

While it sucks not having Troy out there, IMO that is the best decision for him right now.

oh i agree completely, i just hate not having him for the baltimore game, really.

Yea not having Troy there for the Rats game will hurt. Let's just hope TC can continue to fill in admirably until Troy is 100% again.
I think it is a smart move. If Troy sits a month, he will miss the Chiefs, Ravens, Browns, and Raiders. Then, you get him back for the Packers, Ravens, Fins, and playoffs.
That is a smart move. I would rather lose him now than in January.

I said it as soon as he went down again that I would be thrilled to see him back sooner than a month. He has these years where he is just gimpy from start to finish. They seem to occur every other year. Frustrating.

we will be lucky to get to 8-8, but hope I'm wrong
