The Jags rushed 19 times for a mere 38 yards.
Taylor, 10 for 19
Garrard, 4 for 12
Jones-Drew, 5 for 7.
Not a bad night, considering Jax has had it's way running against the Steelers lately.

Yeah.....but they do have 3 starters out on that offensive line. They havent really been able to run on anybody this year with the exception of one opponent...cant remember if it was HOU or not. Not to take anything away from our defense though.

The only team that the Jags have had any significant success running against was the Colts, a team that the Pittsburgh Passion would experience little difficulty attempting to run against.
Regardless of how good your backs are, it is difficult to generate much of a running game with 3/5th of your o-line out of the lineup.

Yea, this is not the same team that we played last year. Our backup DL was beat their backup OL.

Steelers 26
Jaguars 21
That is the telling stat.
Beating the Jags since they started in the league has always been a war. I have alot more respect for the Jags then I do for the Bengals or Ravens per say. Jags organization have worked hard and made smart moves in many ways since joining the league.

and their starting DL was getting stuffed by our backup OL, or did everyone forget we had injuries on the OL too. I dont care what the freaking excuse is this time, a W is a W and that is that. we won, we are 4-1 into the bye, far better than what some of the people here were and still are predicting.

If we had the Giants' line we'd be 8 - 0.

How bout the backup D-line?? A healthy Aaron Smith makes a difference, but hell Hampton and Keisel could stay on the bench for all I care. Chris Hoke gets much better penetration and Kirschke seems to be in on more plays. They are the main reason the Jags only ran for 38 yards.
