I would simply direct your attention to page 46 and the coverage of the playoff game. The first photo is a shot of Garrard running through the line of scrimmage on his infamous 32 yard run. Right there, in living color, you see Jax's 67 literally strangling 99...take a look:

I know, I know. We can't turn into a Seahag fan over this and keep complaining though. We need to take this like big boys and move on. It sucks but complaining about it isn't going to help anything.

Not complaining as such and yes, the milk has spilt...but I don't have Tivo and this is the first I've seen such a clear shot (I refuse to watch this game on NFL Replay).

That hold wasn't even the worst hold on that play, the guy behind Garrard literally grabbed Hampton and tackled him.

I was screaming at the tv live when it happened. I noticed Harrison being held and shoulders turned. Now after the fact I see Hamp and keisel being held as well. It blows but they could call holding on every play in the NFL and I'm sure we got away with our share as well. What sucks is that we put ourselves in that position to need a holding call. It should have never come to that. If you need the refs help 9-10 times your gonna get f'd. These guys swallow their whistles on blatant penalties but love to throw the laundry on meaningless calls that usually end of costing me $. The refs have f'd me for years i'm used to it now. Maybe next time we go for the throat and get that first down?

Who really cares at this point ? We had a chance to WIN the game and we ran a QB draw on 3rd and 6 and then handed it over to our defense which has consistently alllowed game winning drives all year.

Yeah I know, I didn't pick up on the Kiesel hold but I saw the other one plain as day. F'n refs wanted J-Ville to win. They seem to be the sexy chic pick right now in the playoffs.

I'm not really blaming the refs for the loss, just pissed that they call Mahan for a hold that wasn't a hold, didn't even look like a hold, but they some how miss 3 very obvious holding calls on the most important play of the game.

Not blamin the refs either. Just stirring things up. That Mahan hold was a phantom call, I don't know where the hold was at. And going back to the go for two call from the 12 yard line, do people forget that we went for it on 4th and 12 and got a TD? I don't blame the loss on those go for two calls. We just weren't meant to win that game, too many starters out, too many bone headed plays, bad tackling; you really can point the finger in many different directions.

Hampton has already been taken down behind Gerrard, oh well, just let it go people and root like hell for whoever is playing the Cheatriots for as long as they are playing.

Bad holding call on Mahan. Bad non calls on Garrard run.
Bad play call on the 3rd and 6. Bad coverage on ST's.
Bad call to go for on the 2 pt conversion after the penalty.
All helped us lose that game.

Jaguars DE Paul Spicer was on the local sportstalk show today addressing a comment he made about the Pats way back in the preseason. He commented about them getting all the Ref calls because they were Champs. He explained that most Champions being the Pats or the NBA Spurs or Lakers back in the day usually get the Ref's calls because they are the "Champs". I would have liked to ask him then WTF happen this past Saturday in Pittsburgh especially after reading that other thread about NFL Ref Mr.Quirk was working our game?

Poor kick coverage resulting in a Jags 1st and goal at the 1.
3 Interceptions thrown by a Pro-bowl QB, one for a Jags TD, and one deep in Jags territory.
Inability to establish the rushing game.
All helped us lose that game.

When Garrard broke the run, i didn't even get excited. I saw the hold on Harrison and assumed it was coming back. That was the key block that sprung Garrard, the refs just had to see it. I couldn't believe it when there was no flag. It was also pretty strange that the announcers made no mention of it.
With all the outrage over close calls in the Super Bowl, you would think a blatant hold like that, on the play that pretty much decided the game, would get some attention.
At first i did wonder of i was just being a homer, or a crybaby like a seahawk fan, but every single time i've seen it, it's a blatant hold any way you slice it.
I wonder if Jag fans know they got away with one?

You know what was worse? Three bad plays by Ben in the first half.
I know that we got punked by some bad calls but its now why we lost.

They don't get to run that play if our coaches play the last offensive series to win the game.

In the photo, you can also see the conclusion of the Farrior collar hook (extreme left side of photo) ... dude's arm was almost completely around his neck - similar to how far Keisel's guy has him around the neck when this photo was shot.

You guys know that NBA commercial where it goes through the different scripts...
Where 81 points happens
Where dreams come true happens
Where tomorrow happens
Where are you kidding me happens
Where friends become foes happens
And ours...Where good luck next round happens and Where never meant to be happens.
Let's get over it and move on.

Sorta like how they dont get to run that play if Mahan just simply just balls up in the fetal position on the ground immediately after the snap on 2 pt conversion.

haha..I'm still stewing over stacks of videotape that got destroyed without anyone getting to see or know what was on them. The NFL front office can stick this entire season up their ass lubed up with some Kraft mayonaise.

I agree. We overcame every thing else and were in a position to win it by
hanging onto the ball and running out the clock. We did not get r done.
Shoulda, woulda, coulda passed for a first down.
We did just that the entire 4th Q, accept when it mattered the most.
It's over and done with, hope they learn from thier mistakes.
The biggest concern now is getting the O-line in shape for next season.

The Jags will be penalized like no tomorrow vs the Patties. The game will be over before halftime.
