just wondering if any fans steelers/pens fans out there have purchased a satellite tv for pc package. im currently outside the united states (in paris), and football/hockey coverage here is nonexistent. ive looked into satellite tv for pc; companies like satellite tv cube offer something like 4000 channels for a one time fee of 60 bucks. sounds too good to be true really. so i just wanted to know if any of you have purchased similar software and what you think of it.
on a side note, if youre a steelers fan reading this in paris right now, let me know!

Because you are outside of the US, I think the thing to do is subscribe to Game Pass through NFL.com. It lets you watch games live on your PC, but it's not cheap --- $20 per week or $160 to get all of your teams games for the season or $210 to get all games for the season.

doesn't yahoo let you watch hockey games online? or is that just for US citizens?

I haven't tried anything for the PC, good part of the games are televised, usually 3 per game time. Usually the early games start around 7PM and the late games at 10ish. Not sure about any Steeler bars etc seeing the games come on so late. I live in Germany, I'm military, the French border is about 30 minutes give or take depending on traffic. Got a 46 LCD and always cold german beer in the fridge during game time. I think drive time is 3-4 to paris.

well we get the Armed forces network and they usually do 3 early games and 2-3 later games. The Sun/Mon games come on at 0230 but they replay them the next day at 1200 and 7PM.

Hello,
I'm not a Pittsburgh Steelers or Penguins fan per say but I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan, since I live in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Sorry, not a hockey fan at all. However, I'm responding to an inquiry of the Satellite TV Cube. I happen to be a researcher, tester, and user of PC Satellite TV products. My advice is only focus on top software services/products, if serious about watching favorite sports, movies, TV shows, etc., on a computer. The Satellite TV Cube just so happens to be one of the top software packages available today.
I am often faced with many questions concerning these products/services so rather than to go into full details, I have a review site unlike the others that don't provide inside information. I've helped thousands of people Worldwide watch and enjoy free Internet TV/Radio/Music/VOD on their computers. Although these products/services don't come without flaws, they are improving and will provide exactly what people are looking for. That also includes watching any and all Worldwide sporting events on a computer, as I do.
If anyone would like to get the pros and cons on the Satellite TV Cube, as well as learn what top PC Satellite TV software packages can and can't do, go to PC Satellite TV Reviews (http://pcsatellitetv-review.blogspot.com/2008/07/pc-satellite-tv-review-six-hi-tech.html) or Satellite TV Cube Platinum Edition (http://pcsatellitetv-review.blogspot.com/2008/07/satellite-tv-cube-platinum-edition.html)
Take Care!
