One bright spot is Foster definitely holds his own, and he didn't even take a penalty the CK usually does.
Can we trade offensive coordinators?

Uh, except for the half dozen plays he let his man run right by him, but at least he did not hold him!

yeah, he looked like a tackling dummy out there as people ran by his ass... I can't believe this team is so thin on the OL that we have late round rookies backing up these guys

I'm just glad we haven't wasted many draft picks on OL.. whew... just think how bad we would be if we had drafted too many OL....

Just goes to show how much guys like Kirsche, Arron Smith, Darnell Stapleton, etc are for us.
He played solid until i think he got tired. Ben didn't help himself out at all with very poor decisions on the field either.

The whole Oline and playcalling almost got Big Ben killed... against the freaking chiefs!

Foster was an undrafted free agent.

Ben didn't exactly help himself trying to dive head first either. He's a gutsy QB but he's gonna have to learn to become a smart QB too.

Jen, you may just be the dumbest poster we have ever had on this board. Ben has 2 int's today. 1 was 100% on Heath Miller and the second after his arm was hit when he was throwing to a WIDE OPEN Hines Ward in the EZ. So what "BAD" decisions do you think he is making dumbass? I would say he was pretty dead on most of the day today. You want to blame him for diving for the first down marker now too. If he had gotten the first down you would have been sucking his dick. You have a crush on Limas Sweed and claim that Foter played a GREAT game until someone pointed out that he was ran by numerous times...than it was a good game until he got tired. Get the fuck out of here with your idiotic bullshit. Take Sweed with you when you go!

No he didn't, he was awful. I never thought I'd say that fat K is one of the best 5 we have, but he is, good god our OL is terrible. That is just pathetic, we HAVE to start drafting some QUALITY linemen in the high rounds, not POS hacks like Hills, Foster, and Urbik, but guys you KNOW are good.

Overall, the state of our OL is anemic at best. Ben's style of play makes it even harder and requires the OL to be more athletic and thus more prone to an injury. Oor depth chart does not bode well when starters are out.

I agree 100%. By the way did Limas get any playing time?

I would say the only really BAD decisions he made today were when he refused to take the short completions at the end and held the ball taking the sacks. I can't say this enough, this coaching staff is BEYOND moroonic for just thinking "Oh, we'll let Ben be Ben", that's bullspit, you coach him to do it RIGHT, not just let him backyard it. Letting him do his thing is not only costing us games right now, it will end his career early. This is ALREADY his 4th concussion, he's treading on Steve Young and Troy Aikman territory soon. If we want to have him for a full career, they have to get him some better linemen, and a coach that will teach him to be an actual QB, sit in the pocket, throw with accuracy, etc. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning both have never had a concussion, and at this rate, we won't have Ben much longer.

the style that Ben plays its hard for this this line to be on the same Same, this unit looks like a unit from Cowhers smash run teams, these guys dont excel at pass blocking they can only hold the point of attack for 3-4 seconds. Since both Starksa and Kemo have long term deals maybe someone on the staff should say we invested X amt of dollars in each and our scheme is zone OL and for that OL are mostly finesse and on the lighter side not often filled with 330+ guys.
Perhaps getting Starks and kemo on to a conditioning plan that will reduce each's LBS by 10 will help them in this scheme as they will be able to move quicker and not wear down easily esp Kemo who is carrying way to much extra Fat.
Tomlin made such a big dral about Casey why not about Kemo?
