THis has to be one of, if not worst, loss in Steelers history. Coach Tomlin was mocked on the fist KO and yet the two chuckleheads will still be coaching next week. LeBeau and his vaunted defense once again looked like cry babies and refused to dominate an inferior team. The offense, led by the great Bruce Arians, once again failed on on levels.
I said during the game...repeatedly. THIS IS THE WORST TEAM (CHIEFS) in the NFL. Now, sadly, the Steelers have that designation. Humilating and embarassing. THere are no other words.

No, actually the Raiders are the worst team in the NFL, and don't you worry, marvelous mike will get out-coached by the cable guy soon enough.

Sadly I have no doubt they will lose to the Raiders. It's in the 2009 Steelers DNA to lose and be out coached by lesser opponents.

As bad as this was, and it is BAD BAD BAD, it is not the worst loss to me, that was out in Oakland in 2006. Oak got what, 50 yards total and we gave them the game in every sense imagineable. 2nd worst was the 04 AFCCG.

I disagree 100%. For a team like the Chiefs to humilate the Super Bowls champs with the worst QB in the AFC, no run game, and a pathetic defense. Even the 2006 Raiders Defense wasn't bad.
It's humilating to lose a game like this.

I agree, losing to the Chiefs, believe it or not, is worse than losing to the Browns.

Don't any of you remember the Houston game in '02?
THAT was the worst one.

Th worse loss was against the Texans, but that does not make this loss any better. The Chiefs will probably never win another game this year.

The difference between a good team (Steelers) and a very good team is in the details. Correcting mistakes, avoiding turnovers, game-planning against opponents rather than trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole, improving team weaknesses as the season progresses so that they are no longer the reason the team loses games.
The Steelers have yet to fix their embarrassing propensity for giving up huge kickoff returns, and it has played a huge role in 2 consecutive losses. They refuse to integrate the run game into the offense, even after Mendenhall proves that he can dominate the 4th quarter if given the chance. They continue to be plagued by crucial penalties and turnovers.
Different week, same shit. Until they fix these problems, they are a 9-7 team.

THAT was the worst one.
I think this one is worse coming off a Super Bowl year with Ben Roethlisberger at QB.

I dont care if Ben has 2 SB rings and make big plays some times. The last few games he's looked average at best and made some HORRIFIC decisions with the ball.
He seems to find a new way to give games away each week with his stupidity with the football.

Exactly. I can handle him taking a sack a few times, but his ints in the red zone are killing us.

It's the coaching that is LETTING him do that. He's allowed to do WAY too much backyard BS because he's not smart enough to actually run an NFL offense, his anticipation and accuracy are horrible right now. He needs REAL coaching, not the frauds we have now.

I am going to have to AGREE. BEN is NOT an elite QB...he is just good...He doesnt have a ARM(No Deep Ball and Short throws are overthrown or in the dirt)...he makes poor decisions and just seems to look average at best. Imagine where he would be rated if he was immobile...

KC is NOT the worst team In the NFL Cleveland and Detroit have that distinction. However Ariens is just the biggest Puss i ever seen 3rd and 2 to go WIN the game in OT and you run a sweep....????? Grow a set Throw the Damn Ball and win the F***** Game !! Special teams coach should have been Fife Immediately after the Opening Kick off. We will see what Tomlin and Co. are truly made of now.

You sound like an ass.... He is plenty smart. . Guess what QBs mess up.... 400 yrds and 3 TDs a Tipped INT... and the One Big Bonehead play. I guess YOU Never seen Bradshaw play huh ??? We need to live and learn , Tough to stay up in this league. Ben is an excellent QB an we will recover from this. he is just short of elite , but getting there. Gotta cut the picks. But he has at least 5 pick this year in and out of receivers hands. He is under duress on a good chunk of plays at that. So he has tossed 5 legit picks on the year... thats life in the NFL. Be a REAL fan and dont quit so easily you pantywaist.

Take off your rose colored glasses homer.. This is a team coming off a Superbowl win.... This is the defending champs we're talking about. We aren't a first year coached team like Todd Haley and the now 3-7 Chiefs or the pitiful Browns. But this Steelers team is playing like those pitiful teams. Good teams don't play like this years embarrasing Steelers. It's not just Ben, it's the whole team. Combine bad coaching, bad game plans and players being misused has been a recipe for humiliation. Playoffs? Playoffs? Don't even start. This isn't a playoff team. at least not RIGHT NOW. It would be one and done if they played a playoff game right now... Is that good enough for you to call it a successful season?

Guys I have an apology to make:
The real reason we lost is cause the game wasn't on TV where i live and was forced to go to Buffalo Wild Wings, Every time I go there the Steelers have lost this season, therefore I will not visit that place again this season.
Come on the offense was not that bad, Ben had 398 yards and 3 TD's that should have won the game. Had he not gotten knocked out im sure we would have won in OT.
What lost this game was special teams. That fucking kick off return is what did us in , end of story. O yea and I personaly think Ike Taylor made an INT. I didn't have sound for the game so i coudlnt hear what was said but it looked like he had it and was down to me.

Yeah I saw it. This one is fresher in my mind and may cost us a playoff spot this year.

You are clueless....and clearly haven't watched the Browns play. The Chiefs are better than 4 or 5 teams.
