60 MINUTES

I just got done posting how I thought we would see JAX first round and how this time around we might be able to get it done, then went on to say you never know in NE etc.........
I have now sit down for a couple of minutes and tried to keep the say positive attitude going but then come across something in my mind that I guess I had forgot already.
We all know what we have to overcome with Line play and etc.... but I forgot Arron Smith is out for the season.
I will now go crawl under the bed and suck my thumb until april.
For real guys, I love our boys and with some luck like maybe a punt return in a key moment or a pick 6, or some great QB play from BEN or whatever I always think you never know. But looking at our D without SMITH against the JETS I say again the JETS for GOD's sake we couldn;t stop the run, now with the JAGS they really couldn't stop the run. I just wonder if he might be even better then we think. And WE think he is one of the best in the league. That being said I really don't think we can pull out the luck but lets hope I'm wrong.
One last thought, I TIVO the games now( what a great feature I just got) but anyway if you go back and look at the plays, Play by play I've got to tell you our Boy Hampton who i have love for quite sometime is not taking on two and three blockers anymore. Really I hate to say it because I usually think he is a beast and usually don't watch him that much. I assume he is doing his thing. I',m not sure about the other games but against the JAGs their Center blocked him by himself at least 25 times. I'm not kidding, go back and watch it for yourself. To me he has got to get on the guard and keep them off the LB but I just didn't see him doing alot of that. To me it looks like he has picked up a little two much pounds or something or is just not moving well. Main thing is that teams don't run right at him they go left or right, then since he is not getting into the guard he is a non factor. I hope he picks his play up in the playoffs if we make it but I really think he has either lost a step or is just loafing. He is one player I haven't worried about for a long time or rather one Position but I'll tell you he really had a bad game SUnday.
