What the fuck is wrong with this kid? Thank God he was drafted ahead of Ben, the shit he pulls would not fly in Pittsburgh.

Rivers is a pussy and a punk.

He is not even on the field when the game is in doubt, his fucking backup wins the game, and he starts yelling at fans?

What a douche.

He has an assitude. What he needs to understand is that one day there will exist a linebacker or a safety that will take a shot.......damn a penalty or a fine. Someone will make his ass a field logo one day. He should think about toning it down.

1. The Entire PAT team and Fans (had to deal with some of these guys last night at a party )
2. Philip Rivers
3. Eli Manning
After that .. there are many more I can list but I am not sure who is worse ..

Side armed throwing QBs are not cut out for the NFL with the size of these players....and with that comes poor mechanics. Oh yea, Rivers being a f*cking dope doesn't help either.

The Packers are the only team left I can even think of rooting for. If NE plays Dallas in the Super Bowl I don't know if I could watch it. My hatred for the Patsies is so bad I may root For the Cowboys. I think I would rather swallow a bottle of pills.

If he makes it through the Pats game victoriously or a loser the Broncos will probably go after his kness next season. They seem pissed in their post game comments a few weeks ago after what they deemed unclassy sportsmanship.

Since we're in the land of saying "mark it down"... here's mine:

Mark it down... by Wednesday, Philip Rivers WILL disrespect the Pats defense with some inane guarantee made to the press.

would you want your qb going into a game against the p*ts saying "i'm pretty sure there's no way we can beat them. i'm planning on faking a knee injury early just to not get hurt"

i'm fairly certain i'd like confidence, and not doubt.

The Packers are a Class organization. Second only to the Steelers. But of coarse the Steelers are in a Class all by thier own. We are so very lucky to have the Rooney family, by far the very most classy ownership family in all of sports.

It took me many years to warm up to Green Bay's antics. I always loved Brett Favre but all the rest was so hard to take. Once the walruss was taken out of the equasion, it got easier. But this was part of some hard times. Even more reason to follow them as they were not blow one's own horn type of team. They got better playing team football. Brett Favre as a leader helped a whole lot too. He never cried or complained. He just went to work each day and tried to be the best he could. One tough son of gun QB.

A bunch of things came together all at one time as this season went under way. Green Bay suddenly began to play excellent Defense. They came from nowhere to all of the sudden have a quality Defense. Also the Offense had a line that was awesome. They gave Brett all the time he would need to be Brett and also there began to be a running game. With all these things coming together at one time, the Packers all of the sudden had a great season. There was no "early peak" and so they are strong in these playoffs.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers in off season mode, I can sit back and enjoy the playoffs still because the Packers are still in it. Of coarse it will be fun to see the NFC Championship game being played where it belongs, in Lambeau. If we couldn't be there in the Super Bowl, then I'd be happy to cheer on the Packers. And so it goes... on to Green Bay for the Giants as they exit the playoffs. Good Job!

There's a fine line between confidence and cocky. He's talking about a team that's undefeated AND layed a whoppen on him and his team in the beginning of the season.

Rivers needs to learn how to side-step questions and not giving the other team any ammo than it needs....................hear me Anthony Smith?

Fair enough but you actually have to believe what you are saying, especially when it comes to playing NE. If it comes accross as being cocky, so be it.

If Rivers or any other SD player has any doubt whatsoever, they don't stand a chance. I support Rivers this week only because i want NE to lose that much.

Yeah, I heard that....Rivers was being an a-hole. But there is a teensy part of me that would love to see him and his juiced-up prick of a teammate Merriman get in the faces of those asshat Pats fans, too. Oh, and somehow pull off an upset....then get their butts handed to them by the Packers! :D

Unquestionably learning how to side-step questions is necessary for someone who has to talk with the media as much as NFL quarterback, but this isn't one of those situations.

Paraphrasing, he said, he thinks the Patriots can be beaten.

Thats really tame.

Norn Turner is not even in the same league as Bill Bellichek during a "legal" game. The Dolts will be out coached, out-manned and out-gunned. San Diego will hold on with their defense in the first half, the Pattys will start scoring in the second half, the Dolts will start tossing the ball then the wheels will come off.
GO PACK GO!!
