It was a team loss. Multiple boneheaded penalties at crucial times, TD kick return, ball deflects off of of Heath's hands into the defender's hands, pass goes right through Ward's hands on a crucial play towards the end of the game. With a team effort, Ben wouldn't be put into a position to have to throw as many times as he has.

I would settle for a QB that just manages the ball a little more carefully at this point. Our run game is getting better, maybe it's time to back down on his passing and just not give games away.

This thread epitomizes the stupidity that flows after a loss like this. He had two Int's that were not his fault and one dropped that would have been. If you blame him for shorting the one in the end zone while he was being hit you are ignorant of how physics work, and if you blame him for the one where he hit Heath in the hands and instead of catching it, the most sure handed player on the team deflected it up to a KC defender, well then you are just plain dumb....

For the record two of the three TD's he threw were pure improvision. The problem is the OC continuing to call plays that do not provide any sort of protection in key times. When was the last time we had a game where were consistantly getting first or second reads open before the pressure gets to the QB? Blaming Ben for this game is quite simply stupid..............

It seems like ben was trying to lob it to the back of the end zone. In slo mo you can see the KC player hit his arm while throwing then followed into his back as he released causing it to fall short

I think there were at least two, maybe three, KC guys around the WR on that play. Not unlikely that it is not picked off anyway. Picked off or not, that was a bad decision on Ben's part. It didn't look like he was purposely overthrowing the WR, he was trying to force it in.

However, that play didn't lose us the game. I believe KC was 27th vs the run before the game. When you can run, you do. Runs out the clock where incomplete passes don't even when you do have almost 400 yrds passing. 400 yrds passing plus 100+ on the ground should get you a win.

Team played flat again. When we had OL get hurt and you are playing a poor rush D, you don't keep passing.

At one point in the game, they showed the stat about Ben being sacked 2nd most in the AFC, at least once every game so far, and 0 at that point. I looked lovingly into Supe's eyes...umm, I mean, I looked at Supe and said our OL and Arians has what it takes to get Ben to #1.
