With all of the changes/vacancies for head coaches recently, why haven't we heard Russ Grimm's name mentioned. And what ever happened to Ron Rivera?

Were we scraping the bottom of the barrel?

Grimm was reported to have interviewed for the Redskins job. Also, he is on the final list to be voted on for HOF

I've heard his name mentioned on this board for that spot but didn't realize that he had actually interviewed.

The HOF thing is off-topic.

He didn't.

Rivera is the LB coach at SD. Guessing his start took a hit too.

If Wisenhunt was still available....

He wouldn't of been interviewed either...

First off Garret should have made his own way. I think he is in a bad spot right now. Yes he wants the Cowboy job, but lets say the Cowboys win the superbowl next year. No way Jones would get rid of Wade then, and lets say he does, then Garret comes back the next year and does not win it. The Media would burn his ass for that. The are aslo making a great set up for a team distraction. Bad move by Garret, Very BAD.

Now on the other side of things, I love it and I hope the Cowboys suck for years to come.

\One thought On Ron R. I really think its time for us to move to the 4-3, maybe not this year but I would like to see it in 2009-10. I think Ron running it with Tomlin as the leader could really kick some ass. I love ole DICK L. but i think after another year it may be time for TOMLIN to put his stamp on the D. I just don't think he can do that with DICK L there.;

Word on Garrett is that he's not sure if he's ready to be a HC.

If you're not sure, you're not ready.
