WAKE THE FUCK UP
yes, we are all pissed off at this loss, in fact i went to sleep lastnight saying I want no part of NFL this week, well look at me, coming back and being a man. Its time to drink some koolaid and not get hot headed. We're loyal fans to the steelers, so we have a right to be mad, but comeon, dont get at everyone else
you wana know who is to the blaim? not the ST, not ike, not ben
Everyone
when your playing a 2-7 team and you cannot put them away, you look at everyone and ask them "what were you doing?"
I know mike has the reins, but he needs to get them focused, yes they won 5 straight last time they lost 2 in a row, but december is in 2 weeks, and that is when we need to be on it
its time to admit we sucked, look at the injuries, and get on with prep for the ravens
gentlemen (and ladies), it is now a 1 game season

I think I should start a thread telling everyone to calm down. I'm kind of a natural leader and I believe I could get everyone to rally behind the team once again.

I'll rally with you...loss of any type sucks, especially against a team like the Chiefs. Doesn't matter that we are the better team or that, on paper, no way they should beat us. "On any given Sunday"...
I was one of the tens of thousands towel waving fans at Arrowhead. Lousy feeling walking out of the stadium. We have to remember that we are everyone's superbowl this year. They bring their A game to beat the champs and if we don't bring our A game...we can lose like we did yesterday.
That was yesterday and this is a whole new week. We now have to focus on one game at a time, prepare for the opponent, and go out and play like the Pittsburgh Steelers we know and love.
Bring on the Ravens!

The OP is right. It was a team let down. BUT DOESN'T THAT MAKE YOU EVEN MORE CONCERNED? Except for a couple of games this year, the team has underachieved. Or did they overachieve last year? Is the glass half empty or half full?

To be honest I think the offense over achieved last year because of Ben. That was the worst OLs in the history of football to win a SB. Ben made it work but it is a high risk/ reward system. If you can call it a system. The defense was great last year as well. We don't even make the playoffs if the defense is even a little worse. They won games for us when the offense couldn't get out of it's own way.

Look at it this way. At least the Bengals lost also haha. Hopefully Ben is alright. I just heard Charlie has to have wrist surgery. I dunno about this, but a couple years ago after Ben got injured for a couple games and replaced by Charlie, didn't he get injured again?
The Steelers being out of the playoffs does not mean the world ends... It just means that I have a little more free-time on my Sundays when the playoffs start.

in the SB year 2005, Steelers were 7-5 and never looked back. It's 4 losses and a bunch of injuries. Not looking good, but definitely not over.
