Leave it to the Bengals to lose and drag another team down with them. Who? The Patriots....of course. When the Bengals lost to the 49ers, it made the 49ers 4-10 on the season. They were locked in to the 2nd pick of the draft because of strength of schedule. They were tied with Atlanta, St. Louis, and the Jets for the 2nd worst record. Well, by beating the helpless Bengals, they have now moved down to 5th and if KC, Oakland, or Baltimore lose, they are tied for the 5th pick and get into another SOS battle.
It moves New England farther and farther away from that franchise pick. Leave it to Cincy to find a way to screw up themselves AND another team.
Also, if Cincy and Baltimore continue, expect both to be selecting in the top 10 of next season's draft. Will Baltimore invest in a franchise signal caller? Will Cincy draft defense? Will the fiasco named the Bengals continue?
Tune in, same Bat time, same Bat channel.
