I maybe reading that story wrong because I'm very tired. But that makes no sense at all. They are not talking about Spence because they don't want other teams to know they want Mauti??? Wouldn't teams be more worried about the Steelers taking Mauti if Spence weren't expected to play in 2013... which is the exact opposite of what they are doing...
