This is a unique pizza place because it's not your typical pizza place where it is carry out only. You can dine in or have carry out, and the place is decked out with Steeler memorabilia. They serve beer both in bottles and draft, and they have a liquor license to sell other alcoholic beverages as well. They have a TV over the bar - I have not yet been able to confirm via telephone as of yet whether or not they consider themselves a 'Steeler Establishment' or not. I will update this post when more information has been made available to me or confirmed.

Other items they sell is calzones, strombolis, spaghetti, wings, subs, and a desert menu which consists of canolis, chocolate cake, cheese cake, and spumoni.

Update 6/12/08 - Author's Note: On 6/11/08, I was at the Pizzeria New York, specifically the Pickerington location, and per conversation with Brittany (waitress), I was able to confirm in person that this establishment is NOT an 'Official Steelers Hangout' per se, and the memorabilia on the walls is only due to the owner being a big fan of the Steelers (if anyone has ever been at this particular location, you would also notice that another wall in this facility is painted Scarlet and Grey and displays the mascot of the Ohio State Buckeyes). Was not able to confirm whether or not they have the NFL ticket or any satellite coverage for all Steelers games, therefore the games that they may only have access to are the ones they air locally on CBS Channel 10, or Fox 28. However, alot of Steeler fans in the Central Ohio area do frequent this establishment on NFL Sunday.

Pizzeria New York is right up the street from my house. I can only assume the owner is from Pittsburgh, as I would recognize the accent anywhere. Inside has Steeler artwork on the walls etc. My family and I watched the Patriots game there last year. Great time, good people. I would reccomend them to anyone who likes the family freindly thing.

If you want more of the "Bar" scene you could try Wings To Go on Hill road in Pickerington. You can't miss this place it has a Steeler blow up player outside. Get there early, it gets PACKED quickly when the Steelers are not on one of the networks.

After living here for more than a year, I can tell you that Pickerington has MANY Steeler fans and the Wife and I call it Pittsburgh West.

(Pickerington is South East Columbus to all who care.)

Yeah. I was in attendance there tonight because Phil Dirt and the Dozers usually play there on Wednesdays. Most of the time, it's usually only 2 of the band members that show - Tony Alfano and Craig Goodwin. Tonight, Steve Cabot and Mark Frye were also there. They announced that this was going to be their last night for awhile, and they would not be back until September of this year, so that is the only reason why I was there earlier this evening.

I live in Canal Winchester, so Pickerington is not that far from me at all. Lancaster is another place where I heard alot of Steeler fans reside.

Wings to Go? Never heard or remember seeing that place, so I'll have to check it out sometime. Where exactly are they located on SR 256?

It is in the same plaza as Moments of Majesty and Don Petros (formerly Matzalon). Across the street from the old Big Bear, and the Blockbuster. When Steeler games are on you can't miss it, it has a huge blow up steeler player.
