*Current and Former STEELERS player Autographs (list closer to event)
*STEELERS Sideline Store will feature the best selection of STEELERS Merchandise anywhere
*Prize giveaways and contests all day
*Special activities for fans of all ages
*Live WDVE-FM broadcast
*Coca-Cola Great Hall will feature food concessions and a live band on stage
*The STEELERS Locker Room will feature equipment to "Dress like a STEELER"
*Daktronic board will feature live coverage of 2008 NFL Draft on NFL Network and ESPN.
The Unofficial Steeler Nation Draft Day Tailgate has arrived. I will be deep frying a turkey again this year. I will announce the time as soon as I find out when they open the lots. Parking is $5 and will be in Gold Lot #1 as it was the past 2 seasons. This is a kid friendly event. (Also Giraffe friendly) Stay into the evening as the Bucs take on the Phillies that evening. BYOB. Anybody else can bring some food if they like. I will add on more info as I get it. My cell number in case anybody has any questions: 724-651-9626. I will be there at 11 am.

And I think my son wants to come, but he's 20, not a little kid.
Oh hell yea we'll be in town (Shelly and kids) Sat - Sun ... got our rooms at the Hilton (right on the point) booked.
Will be meeting up with some family driving in from Gettysburg area just for this - will be their first Steelers event - all of us are excited, we havent seen them in years!!!
Cant wait to just fuck around in the Burgh for a weekend ... I need a break from the grind real bad!!!

I'm there! Might not be going into the stadium this year since the draft has been moved to later in the day. I'll be there for that, as well as the Bucs-Phils tilt at PNC at 7.

The Pittsburgh Steelers invite fans to help kickoff the 2008 season at the 2008 Steelers Fan Blitz, presented by Comcast! This exciting draft day event will be held on Saturday April 26 from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Heinz Field. All fans will receive a 2007 Steelers Team Photo and a 2008 Steelers Fan Blitz brochure outlining the day's activities upon entering Heinz Field. 2008 Steelers schedules will be available at the Comcast booth in the South Plaza.
Admission is $10 for Adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are now on sale at the Steelers Sideline Stores at the Monroeville Mall, South Hills Village, Pittsburgh Mills, Prime Outlets at Grove City and Heinz Field as well as www.ticketmaster.com and all Giant Eagle ticket master outlets. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event beginning at 12:00 pm at the Steelers Ticket Office at Gate B.
Current and former Steelers Player autographs will be held in the Coca-Cola Great Hall, East Club Lounge, West Rotunda and the West Concourse areas. Players currently scheduled to appear include Dan Sepulveda, Dwight White, John Banaszak, Jon Kolb, Gerry Mullins, Louis Lipps, Randy Grossman, Dwayne Woodruff, Mike Wagner, Andy Russell, and Robin Cole. Please check weekly for an updated player autograph list. The player’s schedules, locations and times are subject to change.
Steely McBeam will be present the entire day to meet and greet Steelers fans.
The Steelers Locker Room will feature the opportunity for fans to try on Steelers equipment of a Steelers player.
Register to win great prizes all afternoon from the Comcast Prize Tent in the South Plaza. We will also feature the Comcast QB Challenge contest off the field on the northwest sideline area with the winner receiving four tickets to the 2008 regular season home opener and a $100 Pittsburgh Steelers gift card.
Fans will be permitted on the playing field to attempt field goals throughout the day on the north end of the field.
The South Plaza will have the Steelers Sideline Store open featuring the best selection of Pittsburgh Steelers Merchandise as well as portable merchandise stands available throughout Heinz Field. Bank of America, the American Respiratory Alliance, Cricket, Chevrolet, Tums and the Pittsburgh Passion will have booths in the South Plaza with product information available for all fans. Game Faces will be face painting in the South Plaza to gear up for the new season.
The East Club Lounge will be open to the public and feature special activities for fans of all ages. Comcast will be bringing Cartoon Network’s characters Scooby and Shaggy to the East Club Lounge, as well as inflatable activities, games, and a special Comcast/Steelers 24/7 drawstring backpack giveaway. We will have the Schneider Downs Pick the Draft Pick Contest and the Schneider Downs Draft Day GM Contest in the East Club Lounge for our “Draft nicks” to participate. WDVE-FM will also be broadcasting live throughout the day.
The Coca-Cola Great Hall will feature the Steelers Sideline Store and concession stands. A live band will perform on stage during the event.
The Daktronics board will feature Steelers TV, Steelers videos plus live coverage of the 2008 NFL Draft on the NFL Network and ESPN.

Just occured to me that draft day is the same day as opening day of Spring Gobbler...........So i better pluck mr gobbler quickly and deep fry him for burghboy.
Hunting hours are over at noon, so i won't be the first at draft day, but i'll be there.

Well got 6 Pirate tickets for 7:05 game, sec 124. I will be accompanied by 3 daughters. two of them are bringing their boyfriends. we plan on hitting the tailgate, etc, then doing the Pirate game. I drive down, one of them drives back. life is good..hiccup.

The hourly forecast only shows rain at 11, 1, 5, and 7. They said on the news it won't be a washout or anything, just rain here or there.

Well guys .. I am not sure I am going to make it tomorrow .. I have not been feeling real great (neck and back pain from the accident ) and if it is going to rain I may just hang at home and relax ..
Sorry Tom .. I did make the kids jello -- but not the adult ones I didn't have any Vodka I guess I will have to take the to my party next weekend .
