Seems like in year's past, we had a ton of them posted a month before the draft - this year, mostly zip.

Here's mine:

1. Gosder Cherilus, OT (BC) - Some may question whether he has a future as an NFL left tackle. I honestly don’t care – he has the capability to immediately solidify the RT spot, kicking Colon inside to compete at G. This also gives the front office leverage with Max Starks, who I’d like to keep, but only at a reasonable cost. (It may be possible to trade down a couple slots & still get him, while picking up a day 2 pick)

2. Dre Moore, DL (Maryland) - This may be a bit high for him, but he won’t be there in the 3rd. The talent drop-off after him is steep, and this is a position of major need. He can play the 2-gap DE in the 3-4 or play inside in a 4-3. His versatility gives him an edge over Red Bryant, who might also be available. (Also a possible trade-down & still get him guy)

3. Jordy Nelson, WR (K St) – Hines Ward isn’t getting younger, what better way to ultimately replace him than with “the next Hines Ward.” – All you need to have seen was Nelson torching Aqib Talib last season. At 6’2” he has the size Ben’s been asking for. If he plays in the pros like he did in school, Nelson will be a pro-bowl WR someday.

4. Tyvon Branch, CB (UConn) – Has the size & speed to be an elite CB, but didn’t face the top competition at the college level. Also has the potential to be an explosive punt returner.

5. Ryan Torain, RB (ASU) – Medical concerns caused him to slide, but anyone who watched this bruising RB in 2006 know his potential. Don’t expect immediate payoff early in the ’08 season – just give him some time. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him push Davenport off the roster.

6. Curtis Johnson, OLB (Clark-Atlanta) – Never heard of him? A small-school monster, he had 13 ½ sacks & 27 tackles for losses, was All-Southern athletic conference defensive player of the year. Older brother (JR Johnson) played LB in the NFL. Also a special teams star.

My “sleeper” undrafted Free Agent – Haruki Nakamura, FS (Cincinnati) – All Big East team at Free Safety, had 4 INTs & 3 forced fumbles & added 1 of each in the Hula Bowl playing against top tier college talent. All his coaches at UC say he has the most “football intelligence” they’ve ever seen.

You must not be reading all the threads. I've seen about 614 mocks so far.

I love Nakamura. Like a smaller Polamalu. He might be a UFA and I'd love to see the Steelers take him.

ditto on Nakamura - and I totally agree guru, he plays alot like a smaller, less talented Polamalu. But he's quick as nuts, and strikes me as an excellent special teamer at least.

rnd 1 OG Branden Albert
rnd 2 CB Justin King
rnd 3 DL Dre Moore think he falls here
rnd 4 Fb Owen Schmidt
rnd 5 OT barry Richardson decent depth value here a pass blocking 2st OL with some proper coaching could turn out to be a starter
rnd 6 WR Adrian Arrington could turn out to be a real steal, great work ethic, nice size & speed could be better prospect to groom in than Nate for Ward's spot , has much better hands and runs crip routes

Round 1 - James Hardy - WR - Indiana. We need a non-smurf WR in the worst way. Someone to go up and get jump balls and fades that isn't 5'10". We need a threat and a scare more than another possession WR.

Round 2 - Chilo Rachal - G - USC. We all know our OL sucks.

Round 3 - Jeff Zuttah - OT/G - Rutgers. See above.

Round 4 - Chris Harrington - DE - Texas A&M - Solid all around skills and the size and speed to play DE in the pros. From his DE position he LEAD the team in tackles, tackles for a loss AND sacks.

Round 5 - Marcus Walker - CB - Oklahoma - 4.4 speed CB with decent size at 5'11", 195 lbs.

Round 6 - Crap shoot - best available athlete at either ILB or Safety. Maybe Jacob Hester at FB if he is still there.

Here's youtube of Nakamura. Check out 1:20 when he takes Ray Rice out.

I cannot give any credence to the guy who prepared this mock.

He says that Kemoeatu is a free agent. He does not even know who is on the team.

Then, in the 3rd round, he has the Steelers taking Ali Highsmith. You know, the guy who is 5'11", 218 lbs. and runs a 4.85 40.

Hey, he is short and small but at least he's slow. No way he projects to playing in the 3-4. Way too small to play inside, and not even remotely quick enough to play OLB.

no offense, but that is one of the worst mocks i have seen. cherilus at 1.23 is rediculous. moore and nelson are good picks. the CB in round 4 is scary since he hasnt been up against greta competition. same goes with the LB in the 6th. drafting a RB is rediculoous since we have parker, davenport, moore, russell, haynes, carey davis.

After watching the video I'm sold.
Why is he not picked to go high in the draft?

1 Philip Merling DE - Merling will be able to come in and significantly upgrade our depth on the DL with the goal of moving him into a starting role next year. A dominating line will do wonders for our linebackers.

2 Cliff Avril OLB - I know I should go with an OL at this point, but the potential of having Woodley and Avril pressuring opposing QBs is too good to pass up.

3 John Greco T - He will have a year to develop as our LT or RT. Depending on what happens with Starks, he could compete to start at RT this year.

4 Jeremy Zuttah OL - Has the ability to play mutliple positions, which is a huge plus. I'm surprised he lasted this long.

5 Jerome Simpson WR - A small school prospect, but has very good size and speed. He could settle in the #4 WR role vacated by Wilson.

6 Jacob Hester FB - I wanted to go DB here, but I actually think Hester could come in and if not start, see significant action early on at FB. Any late round pick that can contribute is a bonus.
