Everyone has a mock thought I would submit my two cents for the public.
Please leave comments.

Round 1
Mike Jenkins CB 5’11 200 4.4 South Florida
Reggie Smith CB/S 6’1 200 4.4 Oklahoma
Mckevlin and DRC go top 15, I also think New Orleans goes DB. I also think Alib is gone (THANK GOD. With Philly getting Samuel may target a O-line remember NYG tore up that o-line and Dallas possibly getting Pacman is there anybody else going CB Round 1? Deshea or Bryant Mcfadden can go to Safety. BMAC I think could excel at safety, good speed good hands place him next to Troy
Round 2
Dre Moore 6’4 305 DE/DT Maryland
For some reason I am not comfortable with TK and Eason being the main back-ups to DE position. Has ability to play DE in the 3-4 or if we switch to 4-3 move inside. Good quickness once again hoping he falls to us at #53 projected second round but my thinking is the top of the draft are going after O-line and Secondary there is good value there. I Would Like to get Avril but with a DE that can push the line would be great
Round 3
K Barton 6’4 310 OT Ohio State
Yes, we have Smith/Essex/ Stark (1yr) (I think Smith is signed to a 3 year extension and Starks is either gone or singed to 3-4 year deal at comparable deal) Colon at RT (I think as him as a better guard but I am not in the coaching booth) It early in the draftfor him yes but could push Colon inside in 2009 Colon’s going to be a RFA next year and may want huge Starter money, Barton has a good solid future at RT.
Round 4
Mike McGlynn 6’4 311 OG Pittsburgh
Mahan 6’3 300 a lot are saying he is better G, I do not believe that to me he is a back-up at best, Kemo 1st year starting, Simmons injury prone? Who is our depth. MM can play all 5 positions got have versatility; can pull has some bulk, getting younger on the line
LT Smith / Starks / Essex
LG Kemo / McGlynn
C Hartwig / Stapleton / Mahan
RG Simmons / McGlynn
RT Colon / Barton /Essex
Round 5
Marcus Monk 6’5 228 Arkansas 4.59
Big Target that Big Ben wants, looking at WR at this spot could go Marion Urrutia 6’6 4.61 40 220.
Ward/ Holmes/ Monk/ Nate/ Reid, Legett or Trannon
Round 6
Frank Morton 6’3 327 NT Tulane
Big Boy to spell Hampton from time to time. Hoke has been quiet as of late and I Hoke was great when Hamp was injured I think it is time to bring in some youth
LDE Smith/ Hoke/ Morton
NT Hampton/ Hoke/ Morton
RDE Moore/ Keisel(Pass-Rush Specialist) TK

Un-drafted free agents
Doug Legursky 6’3 318 C Marshall
(could be gone by he 6-7 round though)
Lance Legett 6’3 190 WR 4.45 Miami
Could push out Nate (doubt thou) not a bad option at #5 WR if he gets in
Joe Clermond 6’3 240 OLB 4.6 Pittsburgh
Great Speed I wanted to get Avril or Crable but do not see either of them falling to us in the 2nd or 3rd. I really like Moore’s value at #53. Clermond could help out immediately on SPECIAL TEAMS
Michael Grant 6’0 185 CB 4.4 Arkansas
I like William Gay as a #3 Grant could be a #4 and be given time to learn or PS do not know that much about Mason Grant who was with the Steelers late last year.
Will Arnold 6’5 325 OG LSU
I know he has injury problems but see if he is ok and could have a good PS player for him to learn and grow
Jamar Adams 6’2 212 S 4.50 Michigan

You will probably catch hell for being a noob and picking a CB at #23, but I like it. If Chris Williams is gone, then CB may be the best value here if one of the top CBs fall. McElvin is probably the safest pick at corner, and DRC is rising. I am not keen on Tahib, either. Mike Jenkins could end up being the best one, though.

My wish list for 1st round is:
1. Chris Williams (probably gone)
2. Malcolm Kelly (probably gone)
3. Mike Jenkins
4. Calais Campbell
5. Quentin Groves
6. Gosder Cherilus

Change the Barton pick to Zuttah and I'm with ya.

If Smith comes back healthy and shores up the LT position, I can see them addressing CB or WR in the first. Especially considering the signing Hartwig and moving Mahan to guard. We will have enogh depth for the offensive line that we can draft OL later in the draft and still pick up some good talent at that point. I don't have a problem going DB in the first, either Jenkins or Smith.

I think we would be better helpt with a corner, though I'd prefer some D-line.

The O-line can wait, we have alot of talent, though Tackle needs some help.

Well... On my Madden game, Batch has only 1 season left on his contract and frankly I just can't see paying him that much for an extension. Roethlisberger is solid and he's been fortunately clear of injuries for some time.

Of course my 3rd Stringer Chris McGee isn't very talented, but he's young and cheap. I can promote him to 2nd string and pick up a guy in the draft to see if he eventually pushes for the #2 spot.

I'm solid on Receivers and DBs. The two rooks I picked up last year are pushing for OROY honors so along with Holmes and my other guy Ken Otis, I'm good through 4 receivers. At the DB side, I have McFadden and Taylor starting with some total studs in backup positions who will likely push Mcfadden hard next year.

Linebacker is a definite area of need. Farrior is gone, Foote is hurt this year and will miss 4 games, I've got two rookies starting in the middle right now. Haggans is solid but aging on the left and I've replaced the expensive and less than Maddentastic Harrison with a younger cheaper version of the same thing. I definitely need to find a stud linebacker or two to give me depth and talent at the position.

I'm solid at D-Line. Hampton has a couple more years in him and Adam Teal at defensive end has made me forget all about the painful retirement of Smith. I've got solid backup tackles and my other defensive end Derick French is a solid player that consistently shuts down the run to his side.

Offensive line was a major need last year. I had a Faneca retirement to deal with and I've been shoring up for a couple seasons with free agents who cost too much. Last year I drafted for young talent and they've played really well. Now they'll become starters next year, I'll cut the FA's loose and draft for depth.

I'm great a RB. Darren Flanagan is once again leading the league in rushing. His backups, while not spectacular are solid and should Flanagan go down for a period, I'm confident I can maintain enough of a running game to remain competitive.

Fullback is a concern. Krieder is holding out... (Again) and the guy I have playing right now is essentially a body. I would like to pick up a stud FB in the later rounds if I can find one.

TE... Big Money costs big money... but he's worth it. Ben throws it... Money catches it --> first down. However behind him, I've got one player (Cody) who's not going to terrify any safeties. Let's not even talk about my 3rd TE. He's abysmal. So I may look for a TE in the 3rd or 2nd if there's a good one out there.

Ironically... I need a kicker. Jeff is getting old and he's gotten expensive. I replaced Gardocki last season with a new punter and I'm afraid Jeff's time may be coming. I'll have to see what's available for punters of course.

I can also use some help at Free Safety. Chris Hope is getting old and while he is still performing at a high level, I'm concerned about the drop-off.

Hope that gives you some idea about where I'm thinking about next year's draft... Of course I'm only in week 8 or 9 right now so I've got better than 1/2 a season to play yet before I get into post-season roster evaluation.

I'd rather have Groves than a CB at #23. Ideally though, I'd like a trade down if, as expected, Chris Williams is gone, and pick either Baker or Cherilus in the early second. ATL, as discussed in other posts, could be a potential trading partner.

I think Monk will go in Round 3 or 4 based on his pro day. He ran well and looks fully recovered from injury. Teams are going to start looking more closely at his 2006 tape.

I like the idea of McGlynn -- his big sell is his versatility. Worthy of a 3rd rounder. Would prefer Greco, but could live with McGlynn.

With a trade down, here's what I'd do:

2(34) Baker or Cherilus
2(53) Avril (if Red Bryant is gone here)
3(68) Demario Pressley -- Dre Moore will be gone. Pressley would be good value here.
3(88) Greco or McGlynn
4(123) Marcus Monk
