I don't find any of those particularly compelling and suspect most will have lop-sided outcomes.

Thank God the Steelers aren't in any of those games (other than the SB winners game). Give me a good old 1 PM Sunday start anyday!

So Green Bay with no Farve and Minn with no QB at all.
followed by Denver and the Raiders.
think I may have to pass on football on that night.

I'm to cheap to buy it. But my dumbass Bungal fan neighbor is a sucker. We go over and take over his TV on Sundays.

Bring over, oh, about 20 miles of cable and we'll hook you up...

My decision to buy the Ticket this year is directly related to the number of national TV games we have.

2 of the 3 primetime games for week 1 are pretty lame. The Giants and Redskins is the only one I would watch.

There is still a possibility that the Steelers open up against the Patriots with a 4pm start. I think that could be the opening Sunday national televised game.

The Colts' new home is the Lucas Oil Stadium?

That just sounds ridiculous.

My decision is to not pay to watch. Wife has asked why we don't get it. It's the fact that that I don't want to succumb to the dealers. Problem is, by trying to justify it, we spend $ at the sports bar w/ our kids eating and watching.

When I get the basement finished, I will probably break down...depending on my mood...

I have had the Sunday ticket since 1997; honestly I would go crazy if I couldn't watch the Steelers play every week. I remember last year I was shopping for a new condominium to move to and one of the criteria's was that I would be allowed to put up a dish. Some associations place rules not allowing it, I found a place that didn't have a problem with it as well as other things I was looking for and I bought it immediately.

i have to honestly say, i'd probably watch both of those games during preseason if they were on... i miss football season... , and living in jersey i'm lucky my brother has the ticket, i dont know of any good steeler bars in my area

Ya know, I could never understand why they make you buy the ticket for all the games. If they would come out with a package that would allow you to get just your home team at a discount, I'll bet they would rack up a lot more cash. Course on the other hand I suppose a lot of people would downgrade to that from the complete ticket. Just wonder how that would work out...

I'll watch them all, it's football and after a month of preseason football, I'll be ready for some regular season football, even it is the Colts killing the Bears. Who the hell wants to see the Bears play?

Hey I'll take the NFC slobfest over that circus in Foxboro any day. Yeah, some pretty lame matchups but it's football. I predict the Giants lose to the Redskins on opening night. "Mark it down." :D

We could watch Aaron Rogers crash and burn - that one could be interesting. Asking him to take over this team from a Legend - kind of like us in the post Bradshaw days, will amount to a real pressure cooker. That itself will be good enough for me to watch.

Those associations would be violating federal law by not allowing it.

i would buy that ticket. there was a rumor about 10 years ago that was about to happen.

he's right, somewhere on the back pages of the general forum, i found and put the law out there for all to see, but which thread it was, i can't remember, do a search for direcTV and it might appear.

I guess that's why about 90% of Condo and home-owner's associations have rules like that. They are all over the place man, some places have detailed restrictions on what style of mailbox you can have.
