W.Va. adds two more football recruits
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia University has added two more football recruits.
The Mountaineers on Tuesday announced the signings of running back Mark Rodgers and offensive lineman Benji Kemoeatu.
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Rodgers ran for 2,319 yards and scored 19 touchdowns at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, Calif. He's been clocked at 10.5 seconds in the 100 meters.
Kemoeatu is a 6-3, 315-pound product of Kahuku High School in Hawaii. He played both guard and center in high school. His brother Maake plays for the NFL's Carolina Panthers and another brother, Chris, is with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I just realized that if you add my weight to my brothers weight you get 310.

It doesn't look like our new coach is having any problems luring offensive players to WV.

Interesting that these kids are part of the 08 class instead of the 09 class.
The back seems to be lightly recruited, but is small and quick and posted big numbers in high school. His other major offer was Washington State.
Bernji seems to be a fairly talented kid. In one interview he liked WVU because of its proximity to his brothers.
So odd to wait till the last day to sign a LOI though.

I don't think little is the right adjective.

I have a good feeling that Chris will still be around with the Steelers. Chris will prove his doubters wrong in 2008 while replacing Faneca at LG.

Kemo did happen to start both of Parkers 200+ rushing games in 2006 (so did Okobi..still can't convince me he was actually a worse player than Mahan)
