Ike Guano or Dixon, I'd say.

Ike Guano or Dixon, I'd say.

I am a little scared of Ike I have heard the "so called" experts talk about him and they say if he does recover he will never be a CB but has a chance to move to safety. Dixon has a lot of upside but the last part of his link really scares me. I like either Guano, Hester or Wooyard. Can you just think of all the one liners we could have if Woodley and Woodyard were starting the next 8 years for us? If we weren't so crowded already at RB I think I would lean towards Hester but I am still thinking either Woodyard or Guano.

Some good choices here. I like Hester, not only can he get some good reps at RB, he could add some real value on special teams.

A lot of good choices here, but went with the CB from Wisconsin.

Hester or Dixon would be my choice.............. Sure Dixon is coming off a injury, but in rounds 5 or 6 you are taking big chances no matter which direction you go in. In Dixon he was playing pretty well prior to that injury. Worth the risk and a look IMO.

Another Ike for CB. He is not going to be available this season, but he was a late 3rd or early 4th round talent before he blew out his knee.

Hester would probably be there in the 6th.

The quarterback classes of the next two years are supposedly very weak. If we select Dixon and he shows something on the field, it could turn into a higher draft pick in the future. Besides, how many 5th round picks have worked out for the Steelers recently?

We need to get a rd 6 in before the draft tomorrow, that way we can see who has a better draft Steeler Nation or the Pittsburgh Steelers. I think we just might have them beat, Timmons? Zo Jackson? Jamain Stephens? ..........ect? Although I will give Colbert some props for Ben, Troy, Holmes.....ect

Take Ike. If he's not ready by this fall, you can at least IR him for a year. Normally we'd cut the 5th rounders anyways.

Yes I will post it first thing in the morning, this round ends at 8:40 am. Should still give us lots of time.

Awesome, I look forward to the 6th and final draft selection in the morning tomorrow. Lets see if we have what it takes to do Kevin Colbert's job! I'm sure most of us probualy spend more time obsessing about the steelers (football) than he does anyway. Football and the steelers run my life all year long. Thats why this site is so great! it gives football freaks like me someone to talk football (steelers) with 24-7-365! I cant wait to see our draft side by side with the real draft. Our draft is shaping up quite nicely right now.
