The steelers appear to have lost their creativity on offense or maybe they just don't have the athletes to be more creative. I don't think that I have seen too many screens, just a screen to their receivers, not much use of Parker.:(

its hard to call plays when your line sucks as bad as the steelers line does.i have more respect for ben everyday.i would love to see him behind a good line.mahan sucks i think alan is trying to hard to cover for his ass that his game is suffering.the steelers have always had that anchor at center, well they dont anymore

Yeah you see ben scrambleing for his life on pretty much every passing play. I used to wonder why they do not call more play actions but over the past couple weeks i have realized that ben only has a matter of probably 2 seconds to get the ball away so play actions are definately out of the play calling but i am wondering why no screens are ever called. You watch romo, brady and manning. these guys have all day to throw back there, im tired of hearing how romo can scramble and throw so well. i would love to see any of them guys come in behind this Oline and put up 29 tds or even be half as good as ben.

the Steelers have always been about a big back and a tough line. pound the crap out of the other team and by the fourth quarter, you wear them out. we have drifted to the quick back, putting up the ball in the air type of offense. yes, willy gets his 100+ yards per game, but in chunks. you can't count on him to play smash mouth football. i was at the game today. we came back to tie it up. then the defense sucks at another crucial time. we need a good draft, dedicated to the front line, possibly another bus type bruiser.

Uge, you can't play smashmouth football on either side of the ball with the line we have or the linebackers. Everybody needs to resign themselves to the fact that we don't have the personnel to do the things we used to do. I don't care if you put Bettis in his prime behind that line, he aint doing dick.

i stand corrected. so who's fault is it that we have this pathetic line? i saw jeff hartings on the field today and got excited. but he was there just for the coin toss.

That falls on the front office. They should have suited him up. If they don't fix it Ben is going to have a short career.

Big uglies on both sides of the ball. I will say it until I am blue in the face. If you can't man the trenches on both sides of the ball, you can't do shit. And, you will get manhandled like we did today on D.

As bad as it seems today we should all thank God every Sunday that we aren't Lions fans.
