If Ben is not arrested and apologizes to everyone (gee, hasn't he already apologized for past bad behavior?) does this really change your opinion of him and his actions for the better?

He has admitted to having sex with a woman he didn't know, likely unprotected sex (NV), he has recently admitted that there was "sexual contact" with this supposedly drunken 20 year old in a bathroom at a bar, and some how she also "fell and hurt her head" during this encounter. Also, Ben supposedly told one woman to "[FILTH] off Bitch" (or whatever) when she only wanted a picture and nothing else after he asked her if that was all she wanted.

I don't believe in the never-grown-up-frat-boy antics. His behavior shows so much poor judgment for himself, his team and the franchise he represents. This is a guy lacking in morals and the ability to make good personal choices. Before anyone tells me that "most" guys his age do this [FILTH], please..I have a son 2 years younger than Ben. There are plenty of men out there that don't do this crap.

If he's not arrested is everything OK, as long as he keeps winning Superbowls? Is this the person you want as a representative of the Steeler organization? Can you take pride in wearing his jersey or seeing your children wearing it? I am really curious.

First, Ben admitted to having sex with Andrea McNulty, but he did know her. He stated that they had a casual relationship. IMO, that case is a non-issue for me. They knew each other. She came to his hotel room. They had sex. One year later, she tries to cash in.

This 2nd incident is more troubling and I will wait for the results to come out. Best case scenario, he used extremely BAD judgment. If that is the case, then this is his first strike with me. As I said before, the other case I view similar to Bettis getting accused of raping someone. It did not happen. So they had sex. I do not expect a 28-year old single guy to do without....that is unrealistic.

So, I have to wait to see how this plays out.

SteelRose, I said he should apologize ... and mean it. Of course, if he is not charged and then goes on and behaves the same way afterwards, it won't mean anything. He would need to demonstrate that he is serious about growing up and becoming a more responsible person.

It might take a while, but yes I think IF he did that and truly changed his ways, people could move on from this.

If no charges are filed...Ben really has nothing to apologize for. A young, single man admits to having sex with a women he barely knew...shocker...same young single man admittedly has "sexual contact" with a young single female in the back of a club...again...I am shocked....I hope he learns from this and makes better decisions in the future about how he meets women.

You know Ben lives a public life, whether that's fair or not. He is under the microscope. I don't begrudge any 28 year old guy from getting laid, damn. We are not talking about just any 28 year old guy here. This guy is a professional athlete making millions. You can count on it that the people who pay his salary care what kind of personal life he leads as well as his fans and the city he represents.

on the radio here this week, one of the stations played the Here We Go song and after it ended they said...some lyrics need changing....."We have a QB, his name is Batch...he has to play since Roethlisberger chases Snatch"....now they edited out the snatch...but it was still funny as hell

That was alot of who hung out at the bars I went to in college. Being hit on by an older guy was, in a drunken moment of stupidity, COOL for the moment. Then again, I went to college in a small southern town where there was really no bar that DID NOT have older guys in it. The girls I knew and hung with wouldn't have done that stuff in a bathroom, but we didn't think that it was creepy that older guys were hanging out at bars. Do I think it's creepy now? No, not really. The girls are of legal age....so it's not like Ben went to a Jr. Hi dance and tried to pick up the girls there. The bathroom thing? It's definitely gross, and not a place I would choose.....but you can't read what was going on in that girl's head. Anytime you add alcohol to an equation, inhibitions go away and you put yourself into situations that, sober, you would normally not.

I'm not suggesting it's not appealing to some girls, I just think it's creepy for the guy to be doing it. 20 year old girls are immature, by 28 a normal guy should be past that stage. Honestly, my 28 year old brother is the most immature 28 year old I know, and I can't even picture him hitting on a college kid.

When they entered, had a drink, watched the BB game, there were MAYBE 3 women in the bar. She also stated there were about 10 guys. She said they left and went to another "bar" (she then explained that these bars are restaurants during the day that sell drinks at night). She said when word got out that Ben Roethlisberger and his group were in town, that you could see people hurrying by their big window heading to the bar they were in.

I really do not think he was targeting college bars. I simply think that they hit a few bars in this town and they probably do not have much other than those couple trendy bars and some dives. I know here in Columbia, if the "bar" or "nightclub" is considered trendy, you will find people from 21 to 50 in it, even if it is considered a "college" bar.

Let me state this, and I do not know because I was not there, but there are reports the girl was drinking. So, if I witnessed her in a bar, drinking, I would assume that she is 21 or older. If I were 28 and a 21 year old girl that I thought was hot showed interest, I would be all over it.
