    Fuck. I still can't believe we didn't take Marino.

    As I understand it. (And I can't say this is correct or not, just what I've heard), Marino and Noll agreed that Pittsburgh's offense was not the best match for his skill set and it would be better for both if he went elsewhere.

    That's agonizing. Accurate, but agonizing.

    They didn't draft him because he was a Coke head at Pitt. Pitt's chief of police confirmed as much (that it was common knowledge that he liked the white stuff) to me a few years ago.
