The Ravens are consistently good and a threat. Even when they aren’t “good” they are competitive.
The Browns and Bengals have shown signs of life. Enough that A LOT of pundits have hitched their wagons to hyping them every damn season. At this point, said pundits can’t let it go.
So, there you...
Do other teams' fans forever lust after their once jettisoned garbage like Steelers' fans? Legit question, I don't look at other teams' sites at all and have no idea if this is a common thing or a Steelers' fans thing.
So I read somewhere, at some point, that a lot of teams cut centers or otherwise have a need there. That was very early in FA if not before it. Does anyone have a good feel for how many and what teams we are likely competing with to fill the spot?
There was a time when the Steelers front office was considered highly approachable and the Steelers were praised for it. There was mounds of evidence and testimonials to that fact. To be honest, I have no idea if that remains the case today. While remaining a huge fan of the Steelers, I have...
The media can't really attach any more QBs to us for this year so now they have moved on to next year. Good thing the draft isn't far off as the pundits are running out of things to talk about.
Even at his age he is a decent kick returner. Also makes a perfect RB3/WR 3.5 for Mr. Smith's offense. Say what you will, they are giving Smith what he wants for his scheme.
I guess it is go for and destroy the knees this year. Then they will ban tackles anywhere in the leg region. You will then only be able to tackle by grabbing feet, hands or ***.
The could get 10 of this guy, let all 10 play on the field while only counting as one and it still wouldn't add up to a first-round pick.
*Also, many jokes about browns + bush shall be available to us this year.
Nice post. This is the only one I am not too sure on. Feels like when they "go" to Connor he makes some nice plays. However, they just don't go to him much. This year will be a true measurement for him since his TE/FB hybrid persona SHOULD be a strong fit for Smith's offense. If he doesn't show...
I’d never make a business call as to whether to get a player based on my personal feelings for the player. But as a fan I can say that Boyd has been a bit of and dick, crapping on the Steelers since he has been in Cincinnati including indicating at least once he was glad he didn’t go to the...
One of them has very experienced and has been proving that for years. The other guy just got the lead role in his area, had a solid first year and may be primed for another.
But which one could be which?
And it doesn’t matter, because death, taxes and this one person are inevitable. And...
We see him soooo rarely. Which is sad, because when he is on tape he looks to be making nice catches and/or blocks. Given the new OC's penchant for using TEs and FBs (really, more than 3 wr sets) maybe we can see a breakout year in the TE and FB room.
The only thing I can say at this point about last season is that it was more painful and less fun to watch than many of the actual bad seasons in the 80s. And that is sad.
