New England has already tied us so makes little difference at this point. Someone will win 7 before we ever sniff another Super Bowl appearance as long as Tomlin is around.
I think Art2 said somewhere he wanted better QB play - yeah, and people in hell want ice water. If he thinks Mike can still deliver a championship he is deluded. Some very good teams fell by the wayside this year - and the Steelers aren't even close to being a very good team.
This team is dead and buried and each year Tomlin is extended drops another spadeful of dirt on the coffin. The stars of 2023 will be gone in a few years with nothing to show for their superlative efforts. We no longer need a change of coaches - we need a change of ownership.
"...talent that has been on this team..." Glad you used past tense because the talent level with retreads and mid-round draft picks has fallen off dramatically.
Dallas is out. If the Chiefs and the 49ers get knocked out, I'll be happy for pretty much anyone else if we don't get past the Bills. If the Bills win, I wouldn't mind seeing them in their fifth Super Bowl - lets see if they can get rid of the 0 - 4 stink.
Ownership - Kraft fires a coach who has been to 9 Super Bowls and won 6, last one in 2019. Rooney hangs with a coach who was been to two Super Bowls and won 1 - in 2009.
Tomlin has already won his second playoff game - getting to the playoffs; the first was having the non-losing season. The Bills bring them back to earth 30 - 20. Don't need no steenking tie breaker.
I was thinking a Rats victory at home but this is more like a bowl game where players opt out so I'm thinking maybe the Steelers pull out a win 23-20. PH averages 35 with some boomers and some shanks and a few touchbacks.
