What Needs to Happen to avoid another winning, whining season in 24

What needs to happen is to be able to play most of your division opponents without their starting QBs again.

Steelers Focus On Both Sides Of The Line In First Mark Kaboly's First Mock Draft Of 2024

Anyone know why we let Hargrave go? Was it money or we thought Tuitt would stay?

Probably not watching the super bowl

New England has already tied us so makes little difference at this point. Someone will win 7 before we ever sniff another Super Bowl appearance as long as Tomlin is around.

Art II comments; reading between the lines

The joke is that great Steeler seasons are only available on the History Channel.

Art II comments; reading between the lines

I think Art2 said somewhere he wanted better QB play - yeah, and people in hell want ice water. If he thinks Mike can still deliver a championship he is deluded. Some very good teams fell by the wayside this year - and the Steelers aren't even close to being a very good team.

Steelers Hiring Arthur Smith as new OC

I think we have a 9-8 season locked up.

Put those chairs over there - and could you tell the band to play something beside "Nearer My God, To Thee".

    Offseason Thread

This team is dead and buried and each year Tomlin is extended drops another spadeful of dirt on the coffin. The stars of 2023 will be gone in a few years with nothing to show for their superlative efforts. We no longer need a change of coaches - we need a change of ownership.

    Tomlin returning for another season

When your team has no future why not? This coach will be here long after Watt is gone, churning out his mediocre seasons and playoff blowouts.

Initial Thoughts on the bills game

"...talent that has been on this team..." Glad you used past tense because the talent level with retreads and mid-round draft picks has fallen off dramatically.

    STEELERS,,,,,,,,,, Wildcard Game Day Thread

Recording the game now - if the score is respectable I may watch it later. More important stuff to do than watch a Tomlin special.

    Wildcard Weekend Games (not Steelers)

Dallas is out. If the Chiefs and the 49ers get knocked out, I'll be happy for pretty much anyone else if we don't get past the Bills. If the Bills win, I wouldn't mind seeing them in their fifth Super Bowl - lets see if they can get rid of the 0 - 4 stink.

Wow, Belichick and NE parting ways.

I don't think Kraft pretends to be proud - he is proud, even if he shouldn't be.

Wow, Belichick and NE parting ways.

Ownership - Kraft fires a coach who has been to 9 Super Bowls and won 6, last one in 2019. Rooney hangs with a coach who was been to two Super Bowls and won 1 - in 2009.

A-N-D Here we are-------------STEELERS at Bills--Official Prediction thread

Tomlin has already won his second playoff game - getting to the playoffs; the first was having the non-losing season. The Bills bring them back to earth 30 - 20. Don't need no steenking tie breaker.

Washington Huskies vs Michigan Wolverines ........for the NATTY

Penix spent four years at Indiana learning about Michigan so that may help him - how does a guy get to be a six year college player?

Ready to Rumble…STEELERS at rats…Official Prediction Thread

I was thinking a Rats victory at home but this is more like a bowl game where players opt out so I'm thinking maybe the Steelers pull out a win 23-20. PH averages 35 with some boomers and some shanks and a few touchbacks.
