There are a ton of options they can pick at 1.20, even JPJ. They did visit with him early on - I believe at one of the post-season games. They apparently also like Frazier a lot so C is definitely not out in the 1st. And, yes, JPJ will go in the first. I've seen him mocked anywhere from before...
It still bothers me how free agency made our WR group into one of the worst 3 in the entire league. Other than GP we have nothing. So, I grabbed our C for the next decade in Rd 1 and a decent OT with our 2nd pick in rd 3. I double-dipped on speed and quickness for our WR corp. I then filled out...
Couldn't pass up Odunze and then Roman Wilson in the 3rd. Pair them with GP and holy schiznit! Grabbed a top 3 C and Pitts Gonclave for the OL. Smith is a decent pick for the DL since I didn't get one earlier. All in all, this fixes our 2 biggest holes at C and WR.
20.
Rome OdunzeWR Washington...
Too many major injuries to take him in the 1st. If he's there in the 3rd, I might consider him especially if we snagged a C and WR in the first 2 rounds.
Me too. In many mocks, I've been taking Van Pran in the 2nd. He does last to the 3rd sometimes but I think he will be gone in the 2nd and maybe before we pick.
Van Pran had been considered the No. 1 C at the end of the season but he didn't participate in the Senior Bowl, etc.. and he fell. Some even said he would have been vying for the No. 1 C in last years draft as well. Van Pran would be a good pick in the 2nd and a steal in the 3rd.
I think they take BPA at C or WR with the first pick and then won't be afraid to use a later pick from next year to move up in the 2nd to get the other big hole they didn't snag in the first round. Get a starting C and WR and this draft is just about a winner already.
The only negative here is I didn't get legitimate DL help. Getting Alt and Van Pran paired with Jones from last year make our OL a strength for the next decade. Roman has speed and quickness to burn. Those 1st three picks took a lot of luck. Hart and Gray have potential and Travis in the 7th is...
CP had been looking great until this past year. I had him on my FF team. He was even putting up nice rushing and receiving yards. This past year was bizarre as they just didn't seem to use him. Hopefully, he still has some juice left.
He's definitely another guy who isn't or shouldn't be guaranteed a roster spot. They still need to draft a legit WR2 to pair with GP. Then, hopefully, two of the other guys will step up and be a WR3 and WR4. I'd like to see Austin take that 2nd year leap since last year was really his rookie...
Definitely no to Diggs and I just can't see them giving up 1 or 2 1st round picks and the huge cap hits that will come with any of these guys via a trade. I just can't see it happening. The team has too many holes to do something like this. Just take a WR in the 1st round.
I still think Fields has significant upside. Sit behind Wilson for a year or two and he will grow significantly getting a chance to watch. The only problem here is how do they navigate a new contract for Wilson AND Fields after this season.
Yes, sir! I could deal with this draft. No way Roman lasts that long but I think we need a WR like him. Quick and fast. JPJ and Sweat can start immediately as should Roman or at least have significant contributions. We need that in a big way from all 3. Sweat is a big NT but he is athletic...
It's pretty much a given our first 2 picks have to be WR and C. Our WR group has a huge hole in it for a WR1 and WR2. We need a stud C who can be the anchor of the line for the next decade. DL and OT should be the next 2 picks.
Great trade not giving up much in draft capital. I'm just not sure what happens after this year. Isn't his 5th year option due now? Then, do they sign him long term without having him actually play in games - similar to what we would have had to do with KP. Wilson is sounding like playing for a...
Now that the Steelers have made a splash play and followed it up with getting rid of our WR1 a/b and our QB1 (in actuality our QB2 but our QB on the roster who would take over again when Wilson is gone.) to leave too big holes to fill. It makes drafting so much harder. WR and QB are now in our...
