I updated my list a bit with additional prospects and changed some of the orders around.

Round 1
1. *Trey Lance, QB
2. *Christian Darrisaw, OT
3. Tevin Jenkins, OT
4. Samuel Cosmi, OT
5. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB
6. Caleb Farley, CB
7. Rashod Bateman, WR
8. Najee Harris, RB
9. Travis Etienne, RB

11. Zaven Collins, LB
12. Kadarius Toney, WR
13. Alex Leatherwood, OT
14. Kadarius Toney, WR
15. Jalen Mayfield, OT

I'd have more corners (Horn and Surtain) on my board, but I limited myself to one "dream" pick in the first round with Trey Lance. I do believe Mac Jones will also be gone by the Steelers pick, which is why I didn't rank him.

4. Landon Dickerson, C
5. Elijah Molden, DB
6. Dillon Radunz, OT
7. Terrace Marshall, WR
8. Liam Eichenberg, OT
9. Nick Bolton, LB
10. Pat Freiermuth, TE
11. Brevin Jordan, TE
12. Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB
13. Aaron Robinson, CB
14. Jackson, Carman, OT
15. Jabril Cox, LB

Round 3

3. Robert Hainsey, OL
4. Drake Jackson, IOL
5. Spencer Brown, OT

Rounds 6-7
1. Jimmy Morrissey, C

2. JaCoby Stevens, S

I like Trey I just don't think the Steelers will trade that high for a QB this year. Only reason I left him off.

Not familiar with Jaylen Twyman what are you liking about him?

I like Toney I think he will be off the board and the Steelers have greater needs. But **** if they fallen in love with him who knows...

I'm not sold on next year's QB class as it stands right now. Lance is a bit raw, but I love his physical tools and upside. I don't think they'll even have the chance to trade up, but if he gets beyond 10, they should consider it.

Twyman is a guy who may get underdrafted because he opted out of the 2020 season. When he last played in 2019, Twyman made a living in the backfield with 12 TFL and 10.5 sacks. He got by with his pass rushing moves and quickness. As strong as he was in this area, he was still good against the run. At just 6'2" and 290 lbs, he is a bit undersize. I don't know what his latest measurements are after a season of training, but like any young player, he has the frame to add muscle. He doesn't have a strong bull rush in his arsenal, though that can be developed. I view him in the Javon Hargrave role for the Steelers, except better against the run. The plus is if they draft him and use him as a rotational player with Alualu (who's hopefully re-signed), he would be ready to take over by 2022. He should develop into a good starter in the right scheme. For the Steelers, he'd fit right into the DL rotation and be able to handle a signficant number of snaps. At best he has first-round talent and could be selected as early as the second round. At worst, he goes in the fourth. Realistically, if the Steelers want him I'd take him in the third. I value interior pass rush, especially when you have and EDGE rush from Watt.

The Steelers need a slot receiver and Toney seems like an ideal fit. I see him as a borderline first-second round guy, but he is an explosive playmaker and a willing blocker. I think he could be a monster in Canada's offense. I put him ahead of Leatherwood and Etienne because there are some questions whether Leatherwood can play tackle in the NFL and I believe Etienne is going to need a good OL in front of him to realize his full potential. Right now the Steelers obviously are no where near having that.

That'll be next year ;)

It's actually the first time in awhile that I've felt like so many Pitt prospects will be good NFL players as well as a fit with the Steelers.

I already broke down Twyman, but look at Jones and Weaver, they fill the need at EDGE.

Jones is the type of explosive athlete the Steelers look for at EDGE. He makes an impact nearly every week and at his best, he's dominant with the ability to collect multiple sacks in a game. I'm not sure his skills immediately translate to the NFL. Like any young pass rusher, he's going to need to develop. Upside is a dominant pass rusher.

Weaver is more of an all-around player. He isn't going to be an upper echelon pass rusher, but he'll play the run extremely well accumulate TFL. He's also going to develop into a tremendous leader. Weaver is around 270 right now and could add weight to his frame to play end in the Steelers scheme. I actually wouldn't mind a bigger EDGE defender in sub packages because he'll hold up better against the run.

Morrissey is going to be a 10-year pro. I could see him being a solid starter in the middle. Never a Pro Bowler, but just a guy you can depend on to get the job done. Low side is probably a solid IOL backup for a long time.

I didn't mention Ford at all. He has a huge upside as a playmaker and big hitter. Fantastic athlete, just a bit of a project. He'll need time to develop. Hamlin is a bit undersized and limited athletically, but he's got good length and has potential to be a solid depth player. I'm not sure if he becomes an established defensive starter.

Pre workouts, as I am a believe a combine or this year pro day numbers matter.

1. QB Jones. No question on his production. Arm is fine, his guys don't have to wait for the ball, nor does the defender get their first. Hit's em' in stride. Very alert, pocket mobility, ball security, an insane accuracy. Ben's successor. I would also be happy with RB Harris.

2. LT Radunz, a fleet footed left tackle with size. Proved it and won senior bowl practice player

3. RB Javonte Williams A big man with power, agility, good speed, and can catch. A 3 down back, who can hit his share of big plays. Maybe he'll go a little earlier. Love him in round three.

4A. C-G Quinn Meinerz. WOW, did he come out of nowhere showing the ability to move people, and good atheism for a man his size. If he's not ready for Center as a rookie, he's taking the other guard spot.

4B. TE Tommy Tremble - A very interesting player. Both a power and a finesse blocker, with rare effort and surprising speed. Suddenly the Steelers will have a good 2 TE set.

6A S Darar Hamlin, A tall safety with decent movement skills, he; also productive vs the pass. Six career interceptions and 21 career pass deflections. Depth at safety is needed

6B. DT/NT Naquan Jones A huge man, who can add something to the pass rush The Steelers need better depth and such a role player.

7A. ILB Jamin Davis. Productive in the SEC. We need depth at ILB. Could be a rare cover backer with height to cover the TE, a Steeler weakness.

7B P Max Duffy. Bye-bye Berry, we upgrade at punter and save on the cap. Averaged 46 years a kick in his college career.

46 years per kick? is that how long it takes him to make a kick or his hang time?

Locked in. A borderline first high second round RB in the third. Remember all the **** you talked when I was off a round with Claypool? I can't wait to rub Williams in your face.😁

You can tell me how many of his punts were retuned, and how he was dropping his punts inside the 20 I'll help ya out

" He led the FBS in gross punting average (48.1 yards) and helped Kentucky lead the nation in net punting (10 fair catches on 49 punts, 24 inside the 20 with four touchbacks). Duffy had a solid 2020 season, as well, averaging 45.1 yards per punt and kicking 16 of 42 punts inside the 20 with only one touchback in 11 games (forced 18 fair catches, as well). He accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl. --"

Sounds like an upgrade over Berry to me. As a bonus I'll tell you I don't; think he was ever blocked, adds something to kick coverage, and his hang time based on his distance and amount of fair catches is decent. Not a bad runner on fakes either.

Duffy won the Ray Guy award.

Lol, did you read what I said? " Maybe he'll go a little earlier. Love him in round three. "

I bet you any amount he won't go in round one, You call him a borderline first round pick? LOL. Name your terms for that bet. Now comes the part where you duck away. RB's in case you are not aware are not in big demand on draft day in the first round, and really good ones can be found later. I predict you try to change things.

You were the joke to call Claypool a 3rd round talent. Shows who you are. I liked him a lot and we saw the results as a rookie. Claypool had many first round traits.

PS: This is mock draft BEFORE workouts. I don't know his speed, character, ect... Let's see how he works out.

Hey ******** you picked him in the third. So **** you and your maybe he will go earlier bullshit. Yeah a whole round earlier. You picking him there is saying he is a third round talent. That is no different than what I said about Claypool. BTW again you rode other people's like of Claypool. You liked him a lot but pimped other players.😆 You make **** up as you go along. Of course we know character and speed that is all well documented. They will just get an updated time. But unlike you they are looking at game tapes not falling in love with a 40 yard dash. Greedy Williams I hear is sending you a valentine.😁

Dickless, this is a mock draft pre workouts. I see you won't take my bet. Williams did not give up one play last year, he was hurt.

Valentines day is over dummy, and I was happy with mine. Who I say will be good and bad is far better than your " track " record. Why do I waste time with you? Get back to me if you'll take the bet I offered, and by the way, you can't even donate my prize to charity so I ponder if you would even honor a loss on a bet.

I think borderline signifies he is a round one talent that probably won't go there. Hence the word borderline. But I am willing to take a third round ban bet seeing that is where you selected him. Or aren't you confident in your prediction? Flap your arms chicken little.🤣

I don't need to live with anything you say twatwaffle. You were petrified someone would find out you live in a shithole then deflected the prize. Prizes aren't life-changing they are for fan enjoyment. A needy person requires food, water, shelter, and medical attention not Steelers memorabilia. But you keep licking those windows they shine up real nice boy!

Round 1
Cosmi, Darrisaw, Harris or Etienne - preferably one of the two OTs first. One should be there at 24. If all are there, I take Darrisaw.

Round 2
Asante Samuel Jr, Paris Ford, Nick Bolton, Dylan Moses, Elijah Molden, Landon Dickerson. I take Bolton.

Round 3
Aaron Robinson, Keith Taylor, Trey Hill, Chris Rumph. I take Robinson. I'd expect to get Hill, we'd need to trade up.

Round 4
Jack Anderson, Darius Stills, Haskell Garrett, Pete Werner, Nico Collins, Dyami Brown, Amari Rogers. If I already have the above three, i take Anderson to bolster that OL first and Rogers with the Comp pick.

Round 6
Trevon Grimes, Zach McCloud, Marcelino Ball. I Ball out.

Round 7 aka Cooch Round
Trevor Lawrence, Trey Lance, Penei Sewell, Christian Barmore. Lawrence is my pick here.

As we are closer to the draft, anyone have any changes or anyone have any rankings to add?
Darr/Cos/ Horn are three of my top wants. Still like Trask and Williams. That is just off a quick glance. Obviously CB need changed due to Nelson and Hiltons exits.

46 years per kick? is that how long it takes him to make a kick or his hang time?

He has a very strong leg, but is one of those rugby guys moving around before he kicks because college does not have the limit on just two players leaving the LOS before the ball is kicked. Big guy from Australia, will be 28 years old by the time the draft takes place.

Pretty old for a drafted punter. I threw out a punter in the game here and there but too many needs to take that approach come the draft IMO.

Hey Dumb ***, he didn’t ask you for what you copied and pasted from Google. Why don’t you just edit and correct instead your typo genius?
