Thank you, Bungles, for being stupid enough to draft a player mainly to keep him away from the Steelers, and thereby drop Burns - a very intriguing player at CB, and a guy I think may well develop into a #1 CB - to the Steelers.

they drafted what would have been a HOF CB for the Steelers, but who will now just be another guy out there....still wish WJIII had fallen one more spot, but Burns has been pretty good

Yeah, I know he was your guy. The Steelers basically agreed and from all indications would have selected him had he been there.

I really am liking the Burns pick more and more. When he gives up completions, he is right there, making a play to try and swat the ball away. He does not leave guys open, and is in position to make a play on the ball the great majority of times.

Opponents are noticing and are beginning to stay away from his side of the field.

What I really like about Burns - besides the physical tools - is his mental make-up. He has been steadily improving throughout the season, both coverage & tackling: shows that he is a worker. But when he has taken his lumps, he has not appeared to lose confidence or shown any bad body language --- NFL corners are going to get beat, but those with the ability to quickly put it in the past are the ones that can succeed over the long run.

Burns is a sad story but a inspiring story.

One I can identify with, and can easily feel for the guy.

Good he is giving back, liked the pick when he was drafted.

And still like him, perhaps even a little bit more.

He's OK, I like him too, rookies make mistakes, but he's doing well

but Sean Davis!, that guy could turn out be a real PLAYMAKER!

I think he has far exceeded what is expected from a rookie. I'm glad he is a decent man and a very decent player.

I was very concerned Burns was a sloppy seconds we want a corner and the best corner was just taken pick. He has gotten steadily better. Pleasantly sureprised.

Burns is pretty good as a rookie. He has exceeded expectations and has me excited as he should improve a bit more in his 2nd and 3rd seasons. I can live with a flag or two, or 1 missed tackle as long as I get solid coverage, a pass defended and an interception a few times a year.
