**** Coke. Smarmy snowflake ********. I cut out sugar so I don't drink soft drinks anymore. When I did I preferred Coke over Pepsi though.

Now, put cocaine back in the formulation and I'll drink it again, with Jack Daniels. Now we're talking!

It boils down to the communists trying to use anti-white racism to destroy the United States. And white doesn’t mean just Caucasians. Remember the screed Declaring conservatives from minority groups as Multiracially white? If you are a conservative of any strike even if you’re black you’re white. It isn’t so much about race as it is about accepting communism. Communist white people are fine, those white people who believe in individual liberty and the Constitution though are being set up for pogroms and genocide.

I wish we could just throw down with the commies and be done with it. Let's just get the inevitable out of the way. It's like sitting here watching a small fire in your house grow and doing nothing about it. Pretty soon your house is going up with you in it. So you either leave, die in the fire while you watch it burn or you put it out.

Here's my honest and true answer. Ever since I started working - I have had to 'be less black' in order to climb the corporate ladder. I can fully understand that someone who has never had to 'live this' if you don't understand---it's truly not a fault....
Truly curious. How did you achieve this? What exactly were the steps that you were forced to take to "be less black"?

As a new member of a minority race, and now being subjected to blatant racial bias, I am stupefied and on the verge of brain lock. As an example, I give you just a sample of today's news and let you help me decide if guilt or disgust and anger is appropriate.

This first story is somewhat typical of liberal thinking, in that the fingers go in the ears and the "la-la-la" emits from the mouth. But this immediate knee jerk canceling and denial of real world events is shocking.

Boston public schools cancel new advanced classes for high performing students because of racial inequalities

The program known as Advanced Work Classes was intended to serve high-performing students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade. Students are encouraged to study their subjects in a deeper and non-traditional manner.
School officials became concerned when a report showed that the program was disproportionately serving white students, and underserving black and Hispanic students.
The district analysis found that more than 70% of the students in the program were white or Asian, while nearly 80% of the students in the district are Hispanic or black.

If being white isn't bad enough, our socialist teachers are now outing students for being Republican....can't be havin' nun of dat in dis here school ..no.

Teacher Asked Students to List Their Political Party and Why, Then Publicized Their Responses, It Didn't End Well
A teacher, as part of an assignment, asked kids to list what political party they would choose and had them write it down, and explain why. The teacher then publicized to the rest of the class what each student had chosen and what they had written, with conservative students being bullied, according to WCNC.
One mother described how her daughter was bullied for being a Republican. She said that the daughter got threats, “These threats that, ‘we’ll show them!’ Or, ‘I can’t wait until I see her,'” the mother explained.
Students took pictures of the students’ answers with their names next to them and spread them throughout the school so kids from other classes were soon involved in the bullying and threats.

It is interesting and notable that even lifelong liberals are shocked and embarrassed by some of the actions being taken by their fellow Dems.

'Lifelong liberal' resigns from woke women's college for its 'racially hostile environment' where whites allegedly are attacked ........... https://www.theblaze.com/news/liberal-resigns-woke-college-racially-hostile-environment

I'll end my rant here. In the new age where statues and books are destroyed or rewritten to appease a "woke" venue of children that have to be told what gender they are and what bathroom is appropriate, our past is now being subverted even in the comic book realm.

‘Superman’ reboot in the works from J.J. Abrams, Ta-Nehisi Coates

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s … yet another “Superman" ? And this time, Superman may be black.

To address the "hair style" debate that blacks seems to think is racism, I question that.

Corporate America always wanted uniformity. Everyone had to dress the same, have the same haircuts, no facial hair. It wasn't just about race. And it wasn't racist to expect blacks (or any color person) to follow those same guidelines. High and tight was practically demanded, above the ears, no facial hair. Regardless of race.

Things have changed a lot since then. Facial hair is everywhere now in corporate America. And even longer hair is somewhat tolerated. But that "somewhat" does apply to blacks as well as white. As stated previously, there are white hairstyles that are looked down upon. Manbuns. Anything unkepmt and wild. Again, not "racism".

I do not think rigid dress codes and short hair styles is a racist thing. And you are right, it doesn't change at all what you do between your ears or how well you do your job or how often you show up on time. But dress codes and appearance DO effect initial imprssions. That is why we bother. That is why we teach our kids to dress appropriately and look kempt and maintained.

I do think we have to be careful that moderate changes in hair styles to allow for more freedom and racial differences doesn't lose site of the fact that appearances DO matter. That demanding a degree of decorum, neatness and effort into your appearance is not a bad thing.

I just think the jump to "racism" is misplaced. Maybe that wasn't the case in 1950's. But today? I don't buy it much.

Heh, try working in the funeral business. Lotta owners are old-school when it comes to dress and appearance but even so there are certain things that the public expects. Lotta young folks have a lot of tattoos and most funeral homes require them to be covered when you're at work. My previous employer was less than enamored with me driving a lifted 4wd truck with loud pipes.

Bermuda, we're asking for your opinion on the matter. I'll watch the show as I'm interested in the discussion point, but often times these "stories" are littered with falsehoods, pseudo science, and bias. Your experiences and thoughts are raw and real and appreciated when having these discussions.

On my side, I had a team meeting at work this week and the topic of the back to work policy came up and it quickly turned into a bash conservative mindsets with lots of laughter at the expense of many of my foundational beliefs. Could I say anything on the call? Nope. I'm a contractor on the verge of contract renewal. It's my opinion that there is no demographic more disliked and mocked than a white, straight, conservative, male. For me personally, add on gun owner, military veteran, and the fact that I drive a pickup truck and I'm seen as down right scum. I don't feel like I even belong to this world anymore with all of the fuckery going on around me. Now I'm being asked to be less of who I am as a consideration to minorities who perceive me as a privileged, self entitled, man who should be more than happy to hand over what I've worked my *** off to accomplish.

Please help me understand this
Firstly, Badcat, I appreciate your transparency. Your comments are very eye opening and I am personally sorry that you feel that way.

There was a statement earlier in the thread that was made to this effect - "I'm just going to stay in my bubble until this is over" - isn't that the real reason that we are here, where we are, in the US and the world today?

I think that people's skin gets rubbed the wrong way when the "comparisons" start. The reason I suggested that we watch the series is so that the view points of others finally come to the forefront. The moment those stories come out - they are classified as falsehoods, bias or fake science. I'm not sure why that is but I'm willing to talk more about it.

Let's keep talking...

Really? Reading this, it comes off as kind of a racist jab. I hope that isn't the goal of this post.

Well, considering he makes quite a few posts similar to this I'm not sure it needs to be questioned as to the meaning. Of course he will come back with "I'm just joking. People need to stop being so soft......snowflakes" Because that makes it all ok.

Indy is doing something here that Limbaugh used to do. He is demonstrating absurdity by being absurd. If you make this statement as an obvious joke about minority groups you get shouts of “Rheeeeeeeeeee that’s racist!” from woke leftists. However if you say something like “Try and be less white” in all seriousness about Caucasians there isn’t a peep. The point being made by Indy is its bullshit to think racism is bad UNLESS it is anti-white racism.
