According to Ravens web site, Forsette was not cut, he asked to be released so he could find another team to play for.


Mike Garafolo โ€@MikeGarafolo - Ravens had trade discussions last week involving Justin Forsett, source says. Couldn't complete a deal so both sides chose to move on.

Spike has it right. His salary is guaranteed from the Ravens. He'd take league minimum and get 2 salaries this year.

I was only kidding about looking good in black and gold...but, if Nix is having lingering back issues, would it be worth bringing in Forsett for a look if he's willing to play more of a FB role? He is adequate in pass protection if needed...would he be worth a cheap signing?
