I don't think he was ever involved with the Pirates so you may not care.

Dude begain his baseball career in 1949 and was still working in the MLB when he got sick recently.

I was never a fan of any team he was ever associated with, yet for some reason, I loved the guy. Nothing better than watching him give an ump hell. RIP.
