I'm not too big a fan of Mettenberger.

He's an arm talent, but he's about as stationary as they come and I don't think he reads defenses at all. He throws the play called and hopes his talented receivers make the play. I just don't see a lot of changes at the line or even a semblance of progressing through reads.

I stated he'd be an interesting prospect back in 1975 when you could stash a big, strong-armed statue and hope to turn him into a Dan Fouts but I'm not sure even Dan Fouts could be a quarterback in today's NFL. Just a different era.

I was going to comment on that. Of course Matthews isn't falling to 15th either. Mettenberger absolutely could go in the first round. I think he will at least make it in the 2nd.
