Trade sim is unrealistic but this is a great way to get to know some of the players.

https://www.first-pick.com/NFL/DraftGame.aspx

Your score is: 19329 (GRADE: B+)

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 13 (G.B.): Ronnie Harrison, SS, Alabama (A) traded back twice. spent 3 of first four on db's. ILB problem is self evident. secondary, keep drafting till it is fixed!
Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Armani Watts, FS, Texas AM (B)
Round 3 Pick 12 (G.B.): Josey Jewell, ILB, Iowa (A-)
Round 3 Pick 28: Tony Brown, CB, Alabama (A)
Round 4 Pick 14 (G.B.): Nyheim Hines, RB, North Carolina State (A+) Love Bell as a player, but his lack of caring about anyone but himself? Hines would pair great with Conner and could also be split out wide.
Round 5 Pick 11: Brandon Parker, OT, North Carolina AT (A+) Hubbard played himself off the team.
Round 6 Pick 5 (NYJ): B.J. Hill, DT, North Carolina State (A+) First time, its early, thus the homer pics.
Round 6 Pick 26 (ATL): Tanner Lee, QB, Nebraska (A)
Round 7 Pick 19 (DET): Ray-Ray McCloud, WR, Clemson (A) looking for a punt returner here. Yet to find a solid list for the draft so choice best available option.

So it only took our 1st round pick this year and our 1st pick of 2020 to jump up to the #6 overall. Sweet. Make it happen Colbert.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 28: Vita Vea, DT, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 28: Dorance Armstrong Jr., DE/OLB, Kansas (A-)
Round 3 Pick 28: Kevin Toliver II, CB, LSU (A+)
Round 5 Pick 11: Riley Ferguson, QB, Memphis (B+)
Round 5 Pick 32 (MINN): Tray Matthews, SS, Auburn (D)
Round 6 Pick 17 (LAC): Micah Kiser, ILB, Virginia (A+)
Round 7 Pick 28: Tre'Quan Smith, WR, Central Florida (A+)

----

I do this with the belief that we can either move Armstrong inside or DuPree inside with the other playing OLB. If we have a plug in the middle (Vea), the run defense is patched up some. Tolliver and Matthews can add to our secondary while we may see Ferguson as our QB of the future, despite being drafted so late.

All this moving this or that player. Unless they have played ILBer and excelled at it, we are probably just better off bringing in a ILBer and drafting a ILBer instead of a linebacker conversion.....

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 4 (CLE): Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State (A+)
In my draft I traded to get the #4 pick to show a trade Bell. I use that pick for Barkley.

Round 1 Pick 28: Tremaine Edmunds, ILB, Virginia Tech (B+)
Edmunds is a young fluid athlete who might not be Shazier but hopefully he can fill is position.

Round 2 Pick 28: Ronnie Harrison, SS, Alabama (A+)
This pick allows us to move on from Mitchell.

Round 3 Pick 28: Mike McCray, OLB, Michigan (A)
McCray is an instinctive LB who has a knack for moving thru traffic and making the big tackle.

Round 5 Pick 11: Deontay Burnett, WR, Southern California (A+)
Rogers tore his ACL and Burnett would just give Ben another weapon. Reminds me of DeSean Jackson.

Round 5 Pick 28: Taron Johnson, CB, Weber State (A+)
Another good CB to compete this summer.

Round 7 Pick 28: Marcus Baugh, TE, Ohio State (A)
More depth and a good blocking TE.

Harrison wasn't their best pure coverage corner, he is better suited for SS. Which is where the game slotted him at. You want a FS to replace a FS.

Yes, Harrison was their enforcer and zone safety. Sound like someone?

Have you not seen Mitchell play? He lays the wood and plays center field. Problem is he leads with his head and seems to always be a step slow. Harrison might not man up well on speedy receivers but for what we need he’s a great fit and value that late in the second round.

This is similar to one of the drafts I posted in the other draft thread. I like it. It helps shore up the middle of the field, gets a steal for a TE (due to being injured part of the year) and two late picks with good upside. We definitely will need FA help at ILB and potentially FS, and RB (if they decide to move on from Bell).

I think Vita starts day 1. Reid could start day 1, especially if Mitchell is gone. Jewell is better than most of what have on the roster right now and I can see him starting next to Bince as well.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 28: Vita Vea, DT, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 28: Justin Reid, FS, Stanford (B)
Round 3 Pick 28: Josey Jewell, ILB, Iowa (A+)
Round 5 Pick 11: Troy Fumagalli, TE, Wisconsin (A+)
Round 5 Pick 28: Terrell Edmunds, SS, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 7 Pick 28: Fred Warner, OLB, Brigham Young (A+)

Picked JC in one of mine as well, although given his off the field I doubt we would bring him in..............

Figured I would trade back this time. I went for as many picks as I could get without falling back more than 10 spots. Got great value. Was still able to get Evans and Reid with first 2 picks. Went with a speedster CB with my 3rd pick and the tackling machine, do it all ILB Jewell in the 3rd. I also got a good TE, RB and WR to reload the O for Ben. And, I was still able to get a big NT to compete and a versatile O-lineman with the last pick. I would be happy with this.

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 4 (IND): Rashaan Evans, OLB, Alabama (A-)
Round 2 Pick 28: Justin Reid, FS, Stanford (B)
Round 3 Pick 3 (IND): Donte Jackson, CB, LSU (A-)
Round 3 Pick 28: Josey Jewell, ILB, Iowa (A+)
Round 3 Pick 30 (MINN): Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State (A)
Round 5 Pick 11: Josh Adams, RB, Notre Dame (A+)
Round 5 Pick 28: Javon Wims, WR, Georgia (A+)
Round 5 Pick 30 (MINN): B.J. Hill, DT, North Carolina State (A)
Round 7 Pick 28: Austin Corbett, OG, Nevada (A+)

I almost took a flyer on Tanner Lee. Dude has a cannon for an arm but just hasn't produced anything on paper. If we were willing to move Dobbs up to No. 2 and have him sit at No. 3, who knows. We might end up finding something between the two.

This draft should upgrade us at Safety and linebacker, two need areas. I felt I stole a TE, upgraded Punter, and added depth to RB, OL and DL.

I doubt our real draft will be this good, then again this is a game with generous trade down offers.
