15 Pittsburgh T. Lewan, OT
Agreed. Has special potential to be a dominate NFL LT. They don't fall out of trees and he will instantly start either at LT or RT his rookie season. Probably means the end of Gilbert or Adams and he and Beachum duke it out for LT. If Adams looks great at RT and Lewan wins out at LT this means Beachum can play LG and strengthen the entire line.

56 T. Niklas, TE
I go TE because it gives us a size guy and a great two TE set with Miller while having an eventual replacement for Miller in 2-3 years. Perfect situation for us to have an easy transition in TE.

I would really love for us to get a top tackle prospect. I would consider the best corner back on the board with the wide out as there are lots of wide outs at about the same talent level in this years draft and we all ready have Brown. I would also look at the tight end prospects as there might be a good one available in the second.

I doubt Lewan lasts to 15, though I like the player. There is just such a high premium being placed on tackle's with his skill set in today's game.

I'm really hoping they get a shot at one of the top 3 CBs (preference for Fuller) or Beckham or Evans (with the hope the selection of one pushes the other down).

The Falcons aren't going to pay the king's ransom required to get up to #1.

Also, Del, what gives you the slightest inclination Bridgewater's going top 10?

I wouldn't be shocked if he does too. Wasnt he number one qb for the longest the. Just a ****** day drops him to second round? I smell smoke. But I also wouldn't be shocked to see him sit in that green room until tomorrow!

The Falcons aren't going to pay the king's ransom required to get up to #1.

I think that is the hitch in the giddyup. Locally, they had Langston Moore on talking draft. Now, I know everyone just went WHO?, but Moore played at South Carolina and was drafted in the 6th round by Cincinnati. He played there 2 years, then bounced around the league another 5 years. He has since came back to be a sideline reporter here.

He was asked by a guy from Mississippi about his work ethic and lack of motivation. Moore just laughed. He (and the local reporters) all said that those issues were fabricated by the national reporters and they have never had anyone tell them anything about a lack of drive. Moore went on to say he is still close with some of his trainers and is around the SC program all the time (still lifts with them) and has been around Clowney his whole career there. He said it was way off base. He furthered that by stating the the Texans owner is an SC guy. They have JonJoe and DJ as players. They have the strength coach that helped Clowney his rookie season (went to PSU and then to Houston). He said they all know what Clowney about and the rumored asking price for a move down is, at a minimum, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd in 2014 and the 1st in 2015. That has come down from the reported asking price of 3-1sts and a 2nd. If they do not get that ransom, they are taking Clowney. That is what Moore said. He also said that Clowney did not act worried about going #1, like he knew something everyone else did not. Dunno, just what was said.

So, I think that we see Clowney go #1. Then the Rams take Mack/Robinson. The Jags take Mack/Watkins. The Browns take Watkins/Robinson. I think those 4 go in the first 4. I think Oakland takes Evans and Atlanta takes Matthews. If Oakland shocks and takes Matthews, the Lewan goes there. If not there, I think he slides no further than Buffalo.

I have also heard that when doing mock drafts, most NFL teams are slotting Fuller to the Steelers. They think he is our guy, FWIW.
