Najee Harris is starting to find his legs in the NFL. For a guy with such high expectations, he is starting to show the signs that the Pittsburgh Steelers made the right decision with taking Harris with the 24th overall pick out of Alabama. Harris was expected to get the Steelers struggling rushing attack back on the right track. The first three games didn’t go as planned as he only ran for 123 yards total through those three games. But in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, we would see Harris more involved in the play-calling as he went onto have a great game in the passing department as he led all Steelers receivers with 14 receptions and 102 yards receiving. Harris would get more balance the following week against the Green Bay Packers with 62 rushing yards and 6 catches totaling 29 yards receiving.

Harris would have his best game as a pro this past weekend vs the Denver Broncos as he would run for 122 yards and a touchdown while also adding 2 catches for 20 yards to his stat line. Harris has also improved his pass protection which is something he has struggled with at times this season. The rookie has had his ups and downs but it surely seems like he is finding his legs in the NFL as he has improved every week in one way or another — and as Harris improves, the offensive line improves. This can lead to some big time success for the Steelers which is what they expected when taking Harris with the 24th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Harris will look to continue his strong performances as the Steelers host a good matchup for Harris in the Seattle Seahawks at Heinz Field on Sunday Night Football.
