Who misses the draft on Saturday and Sunday? I do. Rounds 1-3 on Saturday, 4-8 (draft actually has 8 rounds with comp picks) on Sunday.
I do, but wouldn't mind if it was even Friday-Sunday. Better than starting this on Thursday night.
I actually have Derick Hall at 32 for us.

This guy is a perfect fit at OLB for us, and I will sit back and laugh when Steeler Nation screams at picking him so high..
I think I'd be fine with him at 32. Pass rushers are tough to get so if you can get a good one, even with Watt and Highsmith, get him. This team needs a great pass rush for the defense to be successful.

  • Jones is going to be a good NFL OT, RT at worst. In fact, I think he beats out Okarafor. Then a guy I am beginning to believe will make the offense really, REALLY difficult to defend. Washington is just massive and a superb run blocker. Oh, and he has really good hands. His college production was stymied because Georgia has another TE who is even a better receiver, Brock Bowers. The new OL, Harris, Pickens, Freiermuth, Washington in the red zone? Yes, please. Then Mazi gives the team a rock in the middle of the defensive line, Campbell a very productive ILB who is quick enough to play decent zone. Harrison has more tools than Ace Hardware, no idea why not more productive at THE Ohio State. Last two guys are projects though Fehoko is a talented edge guy.

Double clap of applause !!!

I would strip down to my newest lighted STEELERS Christmas stocking hat and just flip-flop sandles, up here in 20 degree weather,……. Then run outside waving and hollering with a 12 ga. Pump shot or 5 into the air. I’d have to have 2-see through G-strings for support though.

In case you can’t decipher the happy camp, one can only dream of either draft.

Salute the nation

Mock the mock https://www.profootballnetwork.com/7-round-nfl-mock-draft-4-2023/

PFN:
1.17 Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State
2.32 Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia
2.49 Jonathan Mingo, WR, Ole Miss
3.80 Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon
4.120 Nic Hampton, EDGE, Appalachian State
7.234 Spencer Anderson, OL, Maryland
7.241 Anthony Johnson Jr., DB, Iowa State

1.17 Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia
The Steelers have spent a lot of time checking out the CBs, but building a strong offense starting with the offensive line is too enticing. Jones has the skillset to be excellent.

2.32 Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State
Ringo has more athletic upside while Porter has the pedigree and maybe a little more consistent.

2.49 Keeanu Benton, IDL, Wisconsin
I've bought in that Weidl will have a big influence on this draft and that will include building the team through the trenches as they've done so well in Philadelphia. Capable run defender with flashes of pass rush ability. Gervon Dexter would not be a surprise here either. (I'd be tempted to trade up for Jack Campbell).

3.80 Dorian Williams, LB, Tulane
Athletic linebacker with coverage ability. Brings a different set of skills from the guys the Steelers signed this offseason.

4.120 Riley Moss, CB, Iowa
Good size and speed. What stands out most is his 11 INTs, something the Steelers seem to value from their DBs.

7.234 Ronnie Bell, WR, Michigan
Trying to find a wide receiver who can compete at the bottom of the depth chart.

7.241 Ochaun Mathis, EDGE, Nebraska
A long-shot, but has plenty of starting experience.
Haven't checked them all but damn it mane nailing the first three.😳🏈

Wow.

SF448, I tried to tell you Darnell Washington. Could have gone 4-4.

Darnell Washington went at 78. Not even hindsight, I would have taken him over Dorian Williams every single time. I took Herbig in previous mock drafts and I think if we went through everyone's mocks, at some point we all probably picked their top 5 selections. They all just made too much sense.

Yeah, joking. I selected Broderick Jones, Joey Porter Jr., Keeanu Benton, and Darnell Washington multiple times, but never in the same draft - they were never all available up to pick 80, let alone 93.
