One second here, gone the next. Sad.
He lived about 10 miles away from me, by all accounts one of the real good guys on and off the field. There's so much vehicular traffic out here, peds and bike users really need to have eyes in the back of their head. It seems like everyday someone's getting clipped.
And then you go up to wine country and there's always tourists and some competitive folks on bikes on back roads with idiots in their cars who have been wine tasting all day in a hurry to get to their next glass. I would rather take a canoe trip on the Nile.
Exactly and Pittsburg is about 12 miles in the opposite direction. When I moved out here and told people I was from Pittsburgh, they assumed it was the one out here. Unless of course they were from the real Pittsburgh or knew other yinzers, then it was obvious as soon as I opened my mouth.Oh yeah, so you may live close to Pittsburg (the other one)? And that's a shame to hear. It's beautiful up there, minus the downtown city hellholes of course.
