Pretty good game for the Pens tonight. Kapanen with the OT winner. Lots to say about this game, but I’m on my phone so I’ll post more tomorrow.

And 37 shots on goal this evening vs the Craps and the OT win! 3-2. Got a powerplay goal and didn't give up any. I think Jarry is doing very well as of late.

I’m liking Lafferty. He doesn’t light the lamp, but he can skate and I noticed he’s not afraid to hit. He’s head hunting Chara

Overall it was a good game. Even Geno played well, with minimum gaffs. Kappa was the weakness, but then handled business for the OT win. We're looking good.

Nice win...better team won last night.

Like how Kasper bounced back from his public flogging...and Malkin must of taking a youth pill because he was jumping!

No word on Zucker yet. Hope he recovers quickly. He's been solid and is a huge loss for that 2nd Line.

Disagree with your assessment of Zucker somewhat steelcity..

Agree he has been solid....but solidly mediocre...

We will not miss a beat without him.

well, I hope you are correct about not missing a beat w/o him.
He shows flashes and is not a liability. Mediocre? That's a strong statement, but I think they are better with him than w/o.

Here is my reasoning:

7 points in 17 games - playing mostly with Sid or Malkin
minus 5 and only 30 SOG

Zucker injury looked bad. I expect the season if I were to guess. Maybe now a trade? good time to move Turnover Tanger.

ZAR should go to 2nd line, hate to break up the 3rd line but I feel Lafferty could fit in until McCann is back. Or knowing Sully he will drop Kap or Jake and Sid will take whoever and still make them better.

Like what I am seeing from Jarry, still think a veteran back up who is a willing teacher/team player and can help hold Tristan accountable and give competition.

I am interested what Hexy does. I looked up DeSmith's numbers and he's 4-1 with a GAA of 2.84. Jarry, although playing better of late, is 6-5 and GAA is 3.18 in six more games played. Not horrible, but both Gs are playing good. Good enough to go deep in the PO, not sure.

We could use McCann and Rodriques back.

This game looks like we are playing from behind. The "pass first" mentality has returned. I wish Sully would put that to bed for the last time.

Well that stinks. 5-2. They gotta get the PP going. So many missed opportunities this season.

The stick gods were Caps fans tonight. At least the Bs dropped a big one.

As on Tuesday evening...the better team won last night.

ZAR looked like he didn't belong on Malkin's line...or at least he had the first night with his new line jitters?

Positive was they battled back in the third...

Hate to say it but the difference maker for the Caps against us once again was Tom Wilson.

Sid has been MIA lately...

Was a game of highs and lows and the lows outweighed last night.
1) can't give the Craps PP opportunites, esp late in the game
2) have to score on the PP, missed opportunities
3) find a new stick manufacturer
4) F Tom Wilson
5) see #1 and #4
