I was not into watching hockey at the time but when Edmonton traded Gretzky, were they both on the "outs" and looking for a change?
I don't remember the details, but he wanted the trade.

Letang is looking really good so far IMO.

It goes without saying, this is a great opportunity to see what the kids can do. I hope the team can keep up the intensity when the superstars eventually do come back. It will be really interesting to see what happens to that dynamic.

Mike Lange Night on Tuesday. Looking forward to another "Hockey Night in Pittsburgh!!!" Hopefully Elvis will leave the building, Sam and his dog will have more than a few and Mikey's back will no longer require scratching with a hacksaw at least until the next game....

The organization has done a very nice job by not overreacting in the off-season..

I agree.

I still feel like WBS is loaded with talent and utilized collectively can help out their nhl organization when called upon

I know the Wheeling Nailers are also signing some college kids. Do they have a future? Idk. But perhaps their is a diamond in the rough down in Wheeling as well
