Murray is probably their best option. Low mileage the last few years.

This will also heard they’re running back Jackson, it has to affect the RPO as these folks they’re bringing in are not used to that style offense

Ravens running game success is more a result of scheme and outstanding run blocking offensive line.

Peters being out will hurt them alot more imho...
Their two top RBs were solid. Scheme or no scheme being down to your 4th string RB will have an effect. Especially come the back end of the season when a balanced O is more critical.

that was a big part of Penn State’s early season struggles last year. Their #1 RB had to quit football unexpectedly due to a heart issue a few weeks before the season, then on the first drive of 1st game, their #2 went down and they are playing the #3 and freshmen. It hurt them on protection and in the pass game and a lot of small things like that 3rd string RB scoring a TD instead of taking a knee and ending the game, then Indiana got the ball back and scored.

Balt will still be OK in terms of rushing numbers but it will likely hurt their passing game with blitz pickup and receiving skills.

Havjng said that, Marcus Peters is the big loss. They put a lot on their CBs to play physical. They may have to change a lot without Peters.

The Rays love the 2nd year back Tyson Williams who will be their starter. They will still be a great running team it is the passing game that is their Achilles heel.

between $2 short & ten buck two
Lamar Jackson will have a much tougher time when defenses don't have to account nearly as much for these RBs as opposed to the injured ones. It definately makes the ship harder to steer and Lamar isn't the best steerer if he cAN'T RUN.

Whoever is the rats strength coach, needs to reevaluate how he does plyometrics if these are not freak football accidents
