On Sunday normal starting CB Artie Burns was noticably omitted from the field when the Browns offense was on the field. Burns only played on special teams as the Steelers defeated the Browns 33-18 at Heinz Field.
We now know apparently know why Burns was benched.
Steelers cornerback Artie Burns was late to a team activity last week, according to sources, with one source saying that activity was a walkthrough. Burns did not play a defensive snap Sunday against Cleveland despite productive moments in practice.

It's doubtful coach Tomlin will elaborate on the reason for Burns benching tomorrow at his press conference, but it's fair to say there was obviously a reason. This one seems likely to be true.
