After trading away Ross Cockrell, and Sammie Coates the Steelers still had to release many to be in compliance with the NFL's 53 man roster limit by 4pm today.
Long snapper Colin Holba was the only 2017 draft pick released today. He lost out to Matt Canaday. Veteran tight end David Johnson was also amoung the cuts.
